The clean 3 bedroom apartment is set in a quiet neighborhood on the Thames with a view of the O2 Arena. The description of the apartment was spot on. Since we stayed for 9 nights the housekeeper came after 4 nights and cleaned the apartment and changed the linens. That was a bonus we did not expect. The entertainment system was excellent and the wifi was sufficient especially since we had to contact people after the Boston Marathon. We were able to enter the apartment early which was nice especially after a long night flight to London. Obtaining the key was easier than expected. We chose to walk to Canary Wharf every day to catch the Jubilee line. It was a nice 15 minute walk, and decided it was easier than to walk to South Quay and catch the DLR only to have to change to Jubilee. We also chose to have our main meals out so we did not use the full kitchen facilities. The 3rd floor bedroom was the largest and the best so put your dibs in early! We have stayed in Christine's apartments before and have recommended them to our colleagues.
Reviews: My husband and I had a very good holiday in London recently. We found this house on the net and were very pleased to find that it was better than we expected. The house was clean, modern and bright. Well organised and everything was provided. The river provided us with constant fascination and interest that on occasion we just went out later in the day. Canary Wharf was a short walk away and we travelled around town using our Oyster cards, which are excellent value. Late one night we came home on the bus from Leicester Square, everywhere was quite safe and the bus dropped us off right outside the Square in about 10 minutes travel time. The 02 Arena is a must even if you just want to eat at one of the restaurants there and feel part of everything. Generally, we did the sights but would still like to return and would hope to stay at the lovely townhouse on the River Thames. Would certainly recommend it to others, its quiet, convenient for everywhere and being situated in a private square there was no busy traffic or fumes. Bliss! "
"The summer cottage corresponded completely to the description with very good equipment, a dreamlike situation on the Thames, short ways to the underground and DRL. We have spent with 2 adults and 4 teenagers great days in London and will recommend the "Riverside"with pleasure. "
"This was a wonderful place to stay. We've been there for 6 nights and it was a great time in this lovely house. The view on the O2 Arena and the river Themse from the panorama window in the living room is amazing. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathrooms. We would come back and stay in this house and also highly recommend it to others."

I enjoyed my stay at your lovely vacation home for our 10 days earlier this year. We all quickly adjusted to the busses, ferries and underground and were able to visit most all of the places we wanted to see including sights out of London such as Warwick Castle and Stonehenge. We enjoyed the Tower of London and Greenwich and found a number of restaurants and pubs to our liking. We shopped the grocery stores successfully, cooked 3 or 4 dinners and all our breakfasts in your efficient and pretty kitchen.
Your tour books, albums and notes were of great help and went a long way to getting us “into the picture” very quickly. It was so nice to have a home to come to at the end of our busy days. Arriving from a pretty warm California, I feel a little guilty about thoroughly enjoying the rain and snow, but it really didn't stop our enjoyment one bit. We were able to see Billy Elliott one evening with perfect 4th row seats purchased at the last minute that day. On a couple of half-days, I elected to stay home to do a few chores and enjoy the view and watch various projects being worked on and just “kicked back” all by myself. It was lovely.
Thank you for your gracious help with our little queries. I surely would recommend your rental. I'd not been to East London before, but have read many novels describing how The Isle of Dogs used to be and marveled at the beauty it has become.

"The trip my parents and I had to London as unforgettable. I chose to rent this home and it was the best location. Not too far away from the "busy" area, but just far enough and calm enough. The view was amazing from all floors, the cleanliness, organization of information for new-comers, and lay-out was beyond amazing. There was s much helpful information there, it was ike I had lived in Canary Wharf for years. The weather was gorgeous for us to do our tourist thing, and the "tube" maps and eatery suggestions given by Christine were also helpful. It was fun to talk to the neighbors and be able to st in the courtyard outside the townhouse. My parents and I enjoyed all the main attractions, as well as some of the little pubs. We enjoyed walking the dock and seeing the dinners on the water. I suggest to anyone to take the river tour, walk the westminister area, and make your way to picadilly circus for entertainment. Always remember to keep your Oyster Card on you, becausI believe th tube train is the best way of transportation. This was also in my notes from Christine. I was so surprised at how many things were organized for us, it was remarkable how much a person took the care and consideration to set up books fortheir visitors. I would go back again. . definitely. Thank yo again for the stay. . my parents will always remember their 1st trip out of th U.S."
We had a wonderful time at Riverside and exploring London. One highlight was a matinee at the Globe to see "As you Like it". we walked the Thames path just about everyday, went to the Tate Modern, the National Portrait Gallery, were impressed with Canary Wharf,my sister and brother in-law remember the old docklands so it amazed them. we also walked Regents Park along the canal to Camden Locks. Saw the City and places we had worked, St.Pauls, the Tower, Trafalgar Sq. and so many more places that we could fit in. It was indeed good to return each day to a comfortable welcoming place to rest. We can certainly recommend Riverside as a good place to stay and if we can return to London in the future we will hope to stay there.
We stayed at this charming townhouse in London early this month in July and found it to be all that we wanted it to be. Everything was well presented, we had documented information on local restaurants and the various travel options around town. Christine was very helpful and getting there was very easy with her directions. The welcome pack included foods for our children which was much appreciated. We enjoyed most of the sights and have to return to complete the job as there is simply so much to explore. Certainly we would be like to return to "Riverside" as it represents an easy, comfortable and quiet location plus very good value for our money. Would certainly recommend it to others.
