A short stroll takes you to down to the legendary maritime Cutty Sark (- Pride of Britain on the seas for over 50yrs) and the Historic Royal Greenwich Park which encompasses the Planetorium and the Royal Observatory designed by Sir Christopher Wren in 1675. Greenwich is simply brimming with history and the Markets are simply a joy to visit.

How to get there
From Heathrow Airport: Take the Underground Service from Heathrow (Picadilly (Blue) Line) and Change at Green Park Underground Station for the Jubilee (Silver) Line and get off at North Greenwich Station. It should take about an hour. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the Station.
From City Airport Go to London City Airport DLR Station and take the Docklands Light Railway towards Bank Station. Change at Canning Town Underground Station and take the Jubilee Line Westbounds and Get-off at North Greenwich Station. The journey should take about 12 minutes. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the underground station.
From Stanstead Airport Take the Stanstead Express Rail Train to London Liverpool Street. This should take approximately 55 minutes. At Liverpool Street Station, Change to the Central (Red) Line Underground Station heading Eastbound and change at Stratford Station (Takes Approximately 4 minutes - 3 stops) for the Jubilee (Silver) Line and get-off at North Greenwich Station. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the underground station.
From Gatwick Airport Take the Gatwick Express Rail Train to London Victoria (Takes about 30 minutes). Change at London Victoria to the Underground Station and get on the Victoria Line (Blue Line) North Bound and change at Green Park Underground Station for the Jubilee Line (Jubilee Line) EastBound. It should take about 15 minutes ( about 11 Station Stops) to get to North Greenwich Station. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the underground station.

My wife's family came over to London for Xmas and we had a great Xmas and New Year. The Landlord, Babs, was extremely helpful during our stay. I am hoping to book another stay later this year.
