The studio is the ground floor of our large London Townhouse. It is completely private, but we are on hand to help you get the most out of your stay in London. The location is central - and we are well served by public transport.... the DLR, the Jubilee line, buses and Water taxies., .The river Thames is across the road, as is the 2nd oldest pub in London, 'The Grapes' 1583 ( super fish and chips) A few minutes walk upstream is Gordon Ramsey's Gastropub "The Narrow' Two minutes further along Narrow Street is "Figa Figa" a very stylish and atmospheric Italian restaurant. . The London Marathon runs down our street in April each year . Canary Wharf, with its stunning architecture, bars ,restaurants and shops, is on our doorstep. The O2 is one stop away on the Jubilee Line. Greenwich is a few stops away on the D.L.R, and the Tower of London is two stops away on the D.L.R.

The studio is spacious and stylish, dividing naturally into a bedroom (kingsize bed) and a living/dining room. The latter has two sofas, coffee table, lamp tables and a 40" Sony TV. There is a small dining table, for food obviously, but also for accessing the Internet (WiFi) A bookcase divides the two rooms, so that the bedroom is not visible from the sitting area. Outside this room, still private to you, is a lobby area, off which is the kitchenette and the bathroom. The kitchen is more "ette" than kitchen.... If you love to cook, this is not for you! There is a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, an iron and board, with washing machine and dryer available. The bathroom is modern and squeaky clean, with washbasin, walk-in shower and W.C. The house is in a gated development, and the area is very attractive, secure, and of historical significance. There is (very unusual in Central London) NO traffic noise to disturb your sleep. Look at the photos...a fantastic place to stay!

The location is London, the best city in the world (in our opinion!). All London's attractions are on your doorstep, and we will help you to get the most out of your stay. You are across the road from the River Thames in a quiet, historic neighbourhood....but minutes from some of the most interesting features of the capital. There are theatres, restaurants, bars and great shopping locations galore.
