SAFE, QUIET and CLEAN apartment near underground station. Just 2 minutes to all public transportation and 15 minutes to Central London, London Bridge and Big Ben!
This flat is on the 2nd floor with a lift access so no worries about heavy luggage. This is a new acquisition. The pictures do not show all the furniture including bed that has and will be installed before your check-in. Rest assured it will be furnished to a very high standard and will be equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Are you a lady traveling on your own and looking for a safe reliable place to stay in London? Are you a cozy couple looking for a romantic getaway that affords you wonderful space to be yourselves at a decent price? Or do you simply need a place with ample space to sleep up to five people AND has Wi-Fi? My flat is suitable for all of the above and when you book it there is NO sharing with people you don't know ;-)
There is a minimum booking period of 3 nights but I've left my settings to allow for 2 night bookings for occasional left overs between lengthier bookings.
The flat can accommodate up to 5 people (2 in the Bedroom + 1 on the sofa-bed in the living room and an additional 2 on the big-high airbed).
If you key in 4 guests, HolidayLettings will give a quote for all the 4 people. For e.g. 4 friends staying for a week in March 2013 would be under $50 per person per night! But if you are a couple then the price is under $150 a night for both of you! This is a very nice flat for a low price! On top of that it is even less expensive during low season months. And of-course it is more expensive during peak months of July-Aug. Please check my calendar for price!
If you want to experience living in a real London neighborhood, this is one of the best area. The local shops, pubs and cafe are great (to top it up very reasonable price cafe, shops, restaurants are around as well as pricey once too).
It is 5-7 minutes walk from the famous Clapham Common (Public Park) which is buzzing with life and local people all year round. It is the best place to spend a few summer afternoons. There are a couple of local council (government) leisure facilities which could be used on a pay as you go basis. They are usually a few £ for each use which includes gym, clean and indoor warm swimming pool, racket sports.
Less than 2 minute's walk to all the underground, train & bus routes. The buses are 24 hours.
It is located 2 minute to underground station which can take you to central London (e.g. London Bridge, Bank, Embankment, Oxford circus and Leicester square) within 15 minutes. Buses and over ground trains also run frequently between my flat and all parts of London including central London. Additionally there are a couple of night buses which will bring you safely from central London if you fancy a late night out e.g. night clubs.
There are a lot of grocery stores e.g Sainsbury's, Tesco and M&S all within walking distance AND few £1 shops around (you will be surprise what you can get for a £1 in those shops:-)
Brixton (10 minutes walking) itself is a bit like a cool village within a large metropolis. It is a lively spot with many bars, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, cafes, markets and health food shops to name but a few. And if you value your food and the planet there is a great organic farmers market locally every Sunday! Brixton will give you a taste of the real London for those of you looking to go off the beaten tourist track into the local heart of this great city. If in doubt check out 'Brixton Village' market online and you will then know what I am talking about! It's even been written up in the New York Times.
This would suit anyone traveling through London who wants to see a bit of authentic London life with its pubs, bars, people and local living, and have wicked access to the west end and all the sights. Basically this is where the real Londoners live!

"a comfortable, no-fuss stay"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clapham Apartments (Lopez House, Willington Road). The flat is located very close to Tube station, and the heart of London can be reached within 15-20 minutes. The neighbourhood has a positive feel to it, and it seems very safe. The flat was spotlessly clean when we arrived. There is a washing machine, a dish washer and, generally, a well-equipped kitchen. The owners and the cleaning lady gave us a warm welcome and were easy to contact by phone. We got a gift cake on the first evening, which was a very nice touch. We hope to come back one day, as the apartment is perfect for a family of three (parents+a child).

"Had a pleasant stay"
During 1 week stay we felt very comfortable and safe with our 3 years old. Location is excellent since walk from the metro station to the flat is around 5 minutes with child. Also Clapham North(closes… More

The apartment is in a perfect location, one minute away from the tube. Clapham High Street which is also a minute away from the property offers a wide range of shops, pubs, clubs and restaurants. I have stayed in the area several times and found it to be quite safe. The property is fully equipped to satisfy your needs. For the past year I have been travelling to London frequently and have stayed in several apartments managed by Amit. All I can say is that he is a fantastic host, very helpful and he will do his very best to accommodate you.

Very nice welcome from the owner who was able to make available. Apartment very well located as close to the tube that can serve all the places to visit in London. Quiet apartment for room on the park side. Experience renew.

very nice and quiet flat, good convertible sofa in the living room suitable for 2 adults. Good location, next to a good pub and to the tube station. Amit was very nice and helpfull.

"My first working experience abroad"
I chose this apartment as it was very close to my work place. Supermarkets are at walking distance (15 - 20 minutes walking) and it is very well connected with Tube (on Northern line) and with buses (lines 155 and 88 going to Camden Town and crossing the most beautiful and famous London buildings and attractions). Amit and his wife have been very nice hosts and I appreciated their attentions and care during my stay.
Thanks for your kind words. The bathroom had a leak before the guest's stay. My plumber removed a few tiles and fixed the leak but unfortunately the tiler could not do his job in time as it required a dry bathroom which were obviously fixed after the guest check-out. The flat is now perfectly fine and has been hosting a lot of wonderful people from around the world. Regards - Neha
