Lovely, comfortable, cosy, clean, first floor flat in RBKC, North Kensington. 3 Bedrooms, sleeps 6 near to the BBC. Quiet road, parks and transport on your door step. White City tube 10 minutes walk or take the bus. No 7 Bus goes into the West End. 52 goes to Knightsbridge.
Ideal for families, friends, young and old and business people who do not want to stay in the noisy and often polluted central city. Transport excellent for getting to all tourist attractions with bus or tube.
Recently decorated throughout., practical kitchen with dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, food mixer, large fridge and freezer. Washing machine. Little balcony out from kitchen. Wall to wall light wool carpet. Original wooden sash windows. Working gas fire in living room. Huge library of books and novels. Cotton linen and towels provided.
Bracewell Road is a quiet, safe, tree lined street with two beautiful parks right on our doorstep.
Everything is close by, the No 7 bus at the top of our road goes to Portobello Market, Oxford street and West End. The No 70 goes to Queensway and Hyde Park, or change onto the No 52 at Ladbroke Grove for Harrods and Knightsbridge. The underground (2 different ones, 2 different lines) is 12 minutes walk. Westfield White City is the biggest shopping centre in Europe with an excellent selection of boutiques, restaurants and cinemas, and only 15 minutes walk or 2 stops on the bus. (I suggest when you arrive at my house you obtain from the little shops at the top of my road, an Oyster Card. A top-up travel card costing £5 for use on the tube and buses. Redeemable at the end of your stay)
A small supermarket (Tesco) is at the top of our road and sells the essentials. Open 7 days, 6am to 11pm daily. And a traditional English pub The Pavilion is 5 minutes walk. There is a Thai restaurant really close by with delicious food, great takeaway too. And of course, Portobello Market has many lovely places to eat and drink.
Parking is not permitted outside our house but there are meters at the top of the road, and a free parking road not far but it's usually very hard to get a space. Free parking is on Saturdays from 1.30 pm and all day Sunday.
My grown up daughter Saskia will welcome with keys etc on check-in. Saskia lives in our flat on the ground floor and is always helpful and available.
If you need a good reliable cab company to collect you from Heathrow or any of the other London airports, try 'Just Airports' based in Wembley.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is immediately to the west of the City of Westminster, which is at the heart of modern London, and to the east of Hammersmith & Fulham, and contains a substantial number of city-centre facilities such as major museums and universities (in "Albertopolis"); department stores like Harrods, Peter Jones and Harvey Nichols; is home to the Notting Hill Carnival, Europe's largest carnival; and several Embassies in Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Kensington Gardens. It contains many of the most exclusive residential districts in London, which are also some of the most expensive in the world and of course, Kensington Palace. Our area is close to two beautiful parks, friendly with grocery shops and a pub and not far from Ladbroke Grove, a short bus ride from our house.
And Notting Hill, a bit further away, is a popular destination for its lively market, gorgeous streetscapes, interesting history and diverse population. It has achieved a level of fame from the film Notting Hill with Hugh Grant (and yes, he actually does live here!), the world famous Portobello Road market and of course from the annual carnival.
Friendly atmosphere, great transport right from our door. Shops all around.

"Very nice house with everything needed for a convenient stay"
I stayed with my family (2 young kids) and parents for 5 days. The owners daughter who does the handover and handles any subsequent requirements was very helpful and friendly. The property consists of the top 2 stories of a large house and had plenty of room for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids. The house is very well furnished and really includes everything you could need for a holiday.
The location is pleasant with two large parks nearby and a few local shops within 100m's. There are a huge amount of shops/supermarkets etc within 5 mins bus or 10 mins walk at White City Westfield. Transport links are decent with some bus's going into the city centre and plenty to the nearest tube stops which are again about 5 mins ride away. We caught the bus from the end of the road directly into South Kensington for the museums which was very convenient and also caught bus's from Oxford Street straight to the end of the road.
I'd happily recommend the property and the landlords.
