A cozy and bright one bedroom apartment close to the center. Within 5-20 minutes on the tube or bus you can be in Bond Street, Oxford Street, Green Park (Buckingham Palace just across Green Park), Westminster, etc.

Regents Park, London Zoo, etc, are walking distance (approx 30 minutes) from the flat.

The flat is in Zone 2, and the nearest tube stations are Swiss Cottage and St Johns Wood (10 and 12 minutes walking distance).

It is very cozy and comfortable with one double bedroom, and a south-east facing sunny living room, with a pull out sofa. It is suitable for two guests, or up to four guests if you want to use the pull out sofa in the living room.

In the bedroom there is a double bed, a wardrobe and a chest of draws, extra linen and towels if needed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a separate toilet, as well as two small balconies.

This is a non-smoking flat but you are welcome to smoke on the balcony.

It would suit people who want to visit London or are in London for work.

The flat is in a really well connected location, with multiple BUS and TUBE routes, as well as London Overground train station.

TUBE - There are a couple of tube stations and a number of buses close by. The tube stations are in Zone 2, and are 10-12 minutes walk from the flat (Swiss Cottage and St John's Wood). From one of these stations it takes no more than 5 minutes on the tube to Bond Street or Green Park.

BUS - If you prefer using buses - you would get to Oxford Street in 20 minutes if the traffic is ok. There are 5 buses going to the very centre, and another bus going directly to Notting Hill or Camden Town. The two bus stops for all the buses are less than 5 minutes walk from the flat.

WALKING DISTANCE - You can also walk to Abbey Road Studios, Lords Cricket Grounds, London Zoo, Regent's Park, Hampstead or Primrose Hill in 20-30 minutes.

OTHER places you can reach within 10-20 minutes, using public transport, are - Madam Tussauds, Sherlock Holmes Museum, Bond Street/Oxford Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament, Waterloo, London Eye.

Although close to various transport links the flat is situated on a quiet road, in an apartment block on the fifth (top) floor (a small lift is available).

FOOD & DRINK + OTHER

There are a number of hops, pubs and restaurants just a few minutes away from the flat.

A good pub called the Salt House (where you may spot an occasional celebrity, e.g. Sasha Cohen, aka Borat/Ali G, Pierce Brosnan, etc), a Chinese, Indian, Lebanese, Italian, Spanish, as well as a Italian Deli with homemade food, and a couple of cafes. These are all very close by, within 5 minutes walk, as well as several small shops and a Tesco supermarket, on the way to Swiss Cottage station. There is an ATM next to Tesco.

There are two larger supermarkets (Waitrose and Sainsbury's) 10-15 minutes away, as well as two cinemas (ODEON and VUE), a Swiss Cottage Sports Center, and many other restaurants and shops on Finchley Road.

PARKS AND NEIGHBOURHOODS

Regents Park, Primrose Hill, Hampstead Heath, are parks which are within 30 minutes walking distance.

London has some amazing parks, and I would highly recommend exploring these, in any weather but especially if the sun is shining.

Hampstead Village, St John's Wood High Street and Primrose Hill Village are nice areas to go for a walk, browse in local shops and boutiques or sit in a cafe and watch the London life pass by. (and when you get to Primrose Hill, which is about 25 minutes away from here, you are only another 10 minutes walk from Camden High Street).

In a nutshell – there is plenty to do around here should you wish to stay near home, and it is also easy to access other parts of London that you may wish to visit.

The flat is really conveniently located and close to several London Underground stations (Zone 2), a number of buses and a train line (South Hampstead, London overground) 2 minutes away, with good connections to London airports (Heathrow, Stansted, Luton, Gatwick).

TUBE - closest stations are on Jubilee Line, Zone 2

- Swiss Cottage tube station is 10 minutes walk

- St John's Wood is 12 minutes walk

It takes 5 minutes on the tube to get to Bond Street station - which is on Oxford Street, and near Marble Arch

It takes 7 mins on the tube to Green Park - a walk across the park to Buckingham Palace

It takes 9 minutes to Westminster - if you want to visit Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, or to take a boat down the Thames.

There are 6 different buses, a few minutes from the flat, that would take you to:

- Baker Street (5-10 minutes, buses 13, 113, 82, 139, 189))

- Bond Street/Oxford Street, Marble Arch (15 minutes, buses 13, 113, 82)

- Victoria (20 mins, bus 82)

- City of London, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Aldwich (25-30 minutes, bus 113)

- Camden Town and the famous Camden Market (10-15 minutes, bus 31)

- Notting Hill and Portobello Market (20 mins, bus 31, in the opposite direction, from going to Camden)

TRAIN

South Hampstead is on London Overground network, and is a few minutes from the flat. It is only 1 stop to Euston - very close to Kings Cross.

Taking the train from South Hampstead in the other direction would take you all the way down to West London, to Kew Gardens and Richmond.

AIRPORTS

- Stanstead and Luton airports - there are direct buses (about 15 minutes walk from the flat) to Stanstead and Luton airports

- Heathrow you can reach either by tube, train, or taxi and it would take from 45min to 1h15 (depending on trafic and mode of transport chosen)

- Gatwick airport - a train from West Hampstead, or a bus to Victoria station ( bus number 82, just 3 minutes from the flat) and from there a Gatwick Express tain, or a standard train to Gatwick

Central London/Zone 2

The flat is conveniently located, close to the centre and well connected with various other parts of the city.

On a quiet residential street but close to several restaurants, shops and other amenities.

It is two minutes from the famous Abbey Road, and down the road are the Abbey Road Studios famous for being used by the Beatles, Pink Floyd and other legendary artists. There are a number of local pubs and restaurants nearby.

FOOD & DRINK + OTHER

It is on a quiet street, but close to several shops and restaurants - Italian, Thai, Lebanese, Indian, etc, less than 5 minutes away .

Besides the few smaller shops there is a supermarket (Tesco) five minutes away, and there are two larger supermarkets (Waitrose and Sainsbury's) 10-15 minutes away, as well as two cinemas, a Swiss Cottage Sports Centre, and many other restaurants and shops.

PARKS AND NEIGHBOURHOODS

Regents Park, Primrose Hill, Hampstead Heath are all within half an hour walking distance. London has some amazing parks, and I would highly recommend especially if the sun is shining. London Zoo is in Regent's Park, and also half an hour walk from the flat.

"we had a very comfortable stay""

Dejana who is the owner of this apartment is extremely kind, polite and a very nice person. Apartment is very clean , fresh and well decorated with very comfortable beds. Everything is very organized and pictures shown in the website are true pictures. Apartment is in extremely good neighborhood and well contacted via buses and underground. In addition, the owner makes you really feel at home and she is very helpful and always ready to do something for the guest. I would certainly come back to stay here. I had a very good time.
