This is our much loved family home where we have lived for nearly 25 years. It is ideal for any family looking for a real home from home stay. It is only rented in the summer and very importantly comes with a gorgeous child friendly tabby cat. We have two girls - age 19 and 22 and a 11 year old. you will find plenty of toys, books and dvds that reflect this!

Primrose Hill is a quiet refuge very close to central London which is situated between Regents Park and Camden Town/Hampstead. It has many advantages: the elegant village high street of Regents Park Road and Camden Lock market are both within easy walking distance; easy transport by bus, train, Tube and taxi to all areas of London, including Covent Garden, West End theatres and Oxford Street shopping. We often walk to the West End across Regent's Park. Also, there is a variety of excellent restaurants cafes and pubs nearby.
Primrose Hill itself is very close and leads into Regents Park and the Zoo..

The South East England region
Welcome to Primrose Hill - one of London's most saught after residential locations. A quiet enclave of large gracious Georgian houses and a popular hang out for many of London's well known actors artists and musicians. Walk 10 minutes to vibrant, world famous Camden Market or stroll a few minutes and relax in Primrose Hill with its iconic view of Central London. Have a picnic on the hillside and watch the world go by. If you want something a bit more adventurous for the children, visit the Tigers at London Zoo or if you're hugry or just want to chill, while away some time at the myriad of restaurants, pubs and cafes on Regents Park Road.
Primrose Hill is a fanatstic Central London location. 20 minutes to London's Theatre Land. If you want to shop then Oxford Street and Regents Street are just across Regents Park. It really is a great place to live. We have been here for 25 years, raised 3 children among its safe streets and we still love it. One reason is we can reach anywhere in London really easily. We love the galleries and markets and the craziness of the West End or Camden Market as much as we enjoy the walks along the canal, up to the top of the hill on a Sunday afternoon or a stomp further afield to Hamsptead Heath. London is a beautiful city and Primrose Hill is one of its many jewels.
Central London/Zone 2
Primrose Hill is an elegant enclave nestled between Regents Park and Camden town - it is a spacious quiet residential area very close to central London. It is a short walk alongside the canal to the famous Camden Lock Market. Besides its many pubs, Camden is now host to famous jazz and rock venues - a short walk away. In the other direction are the elegant shops and restaurants of Regents Park Road. Hampstead is just ten minutes to the North. Regents Park and Zoo are five minutes walk away.
Regents Park Road has many restaurants including excellent Italian and Greek family restaurtants. There is also one of the best vegetarian restaurants in London, a smart French restaurant, Polish, Russian and other ecclectic places to eat in the street as well as a well stocked health food store and small supermarket. The Lansdown pub is just a few doors down, is family friendly and serves excellent food.(Delicious lunch time pizza for Â£8)
London's Regents canal is a few minutes walk down the road and it is possible to take a sightseeing walk several miles east or west along its banks or a barge trip from Camden Lock.
Visitors can walk from the house across Regents Park to busy Oxford Street and Regents Street in 30 minutes. Alternatively there is a bus five minutes walk away(274, C11) that takes you to the West End.
There are a number of exclusive shops as well as a few more practical ones in Regents park road (5minutes walk from the property). There are interior designers, shoe shops, a florist, clothes, a fishmonger, a health food shop, a grocery shop,an excellent one selling all household stores, an Italian delicatessen, a chemist, a wine shop etc. Up Gloucester ave, right over the bridge and right down the main road for 5 minutes, then right up a small hill (10 minutes walk altogether) is also a large supermarket.
On the far side of Primrose Hill the 274 bus takes you to Selfridges and Oxford Street
On the other side of Chalk Farm tube station is a bus stop for a 168 which can take you to the British Museum and near Covent Garden and Waterloo Bridge.
Down Chalk Farm Road is a 27 bus which can take you to Paddington Station.
Down ChalkFarm Road there is also a 24 bus which will take you to the Tottenham Court Road end of Oxford Street, not far from the British museum and Covent Garden.
Bus 31 opposite Chalk Farm tube can take you close to Portobello Market - about a half hour journey
Hampstead Heath is two stops away on the northern line from Chalk Farm.
Bus 88 from Camden Town takes you to Trafalgar Square

"Lovely, Clean Home. Great location, Great neighborhood. Family Friendly!"
We were traveling to London with 6 adults and 3 boys under 10 years old. The house worked out great. It was clean, safe, in a family friendly neighborhood, close to several good places to eat and drink, a lovely park, transportation, grocery shopping. The owners were easy and fabulous to work with. The bonus, and my son's highpoint of the trip, was snuggling and caring for their kitty, Lola!
