This apartment is a wonderful place to stay whether you are visiting London for a holiday vacation, business or a city break.

Canary Wharf Station, for the Jubilee Line, and Heron Quays DLR Station are a 10 minute walk away. Crossharbour DLR Station is a 7 minute walk away. These lines give you rapid access to the City as well as to the West End, Stratford, O2 Arena, Greenwich and Excel Exhibition Centre.

There is a bus stop, less than 2 minutes walk away, which is serviced by a number of routes including one that goes to the City.

• Another door leads into the ensuite with shower, toilet, wash basin, storage, towel rails, mirror and extractor fan.

The apartment also contains cleaning equipment, including a vacuum cleaner, clothes horse, iron and ironing board. If you require additional cleaning services, details of a cleaner can be given so that you can make your own arrangements for this. In addition, if you want a laundry free visit, there is a company that can provide laundry and dry cleaning services and they collect and deliver to the development free of charge.

The apartment is in a gated, modern complex with 24/7 concierge and comes with an underground car parking space. Visitors car parking spaces are also available, subject to availability. Car parking is a particular benefit in London and will be extremely sought after. The facility will provide a stress free, convenience for you and your party. If you require additional parking spaces, please email as we may be able to find someone who does not use their car parking facility and may be happy to rent it out.

There are beautiful landscaped communal gardens which can be seen from one of the balconies. The Thames pathway, which is lit during the evening, can be accessed next to the apartment block for riverside walks.

The entrance to the gym and spa area is onsite and only a few steps away from the apartment block. The gym is extremely well equipped and has direct river views, which is a rarity in the area's residential developments. There is a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and drinking water is available. There are separate changing rooms for men and women with toilet and shower facilities.

There is a park next to the development, which is equipped with a childrens playground and equipment for older children.

The South East England region

Docklands / Canary Wharf area - Until about 1800, the Isle of Dogs was a marshy agricultural area. Some say that the name Isle of Dogs came about because Henry VIII kept his hunting dogs on the island. Once the docks were built c. 1800, the waterways of the docks cut off the southern part of the area making it truly an island.

In 1988 construction work began at Canary Wharf. The area has been transformed into a high rise financial and business centre. However, many of the docks and their machinery still survive providing an added attraction to the area.

Central London/Zone 2

The Olympic Park is less than 4 miles / 7 kms from the apartment.

The warehouses around Docklands' West India Quay are the best preserved in London and now house a selection of bars and restaurants.

The Museum of London Docklands occupies a Georgian warehouse on the banks of the West India Quay. It's a great place to visit and explore 12 galleries of artefacts, paintings, engravings and photographs charting the history of the area from the Romans right through to the present day.

The Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre is a 2 minute walk away and holds activities, such as dragon boating, sailing, windsurfing or kayaking/canoeing. Non members are welcome. Twilight sailing is very popular with members and non members alike. This takes place on Wednesday evenings starting at 6.00 pm and sailing is followed by a relaxing barbecue. Non members are charged just £25.00 for their evening of sailing, including the barbecue. If you just want to watch and enjoy the après sail barbecue, this will cost you just £15.00. Mudchute Farm and Park is Europe's largest urban farm and is overlooked by Canary Wharf's skyscrapers. It is a 15 minute walk from the apartment and you could easily be in the British countryside rather than a stone's throw away from the skyscrapers. Take a horse ride through the 12.5 hectares (31 acres) of open parkland or meet the sheep, pigs, ducks and geese at the farm. Take a picnic and you can even join the llamas for lunch! Entry is free.

Shopaholics and and food lovers are well catered for in Canary Wharf with a choice of more than 200 shops, bars and restaurants. Luxurious brands such as Tiffany & Co., Jo Malone and Montblanc sit side-by-side with high street names such as Topshop, Reiss, Whistles and Zara. There is also a selection of quintessentially British brands such as Aspinal of London, and Hackett as well as smaller independent shops and designer boutiques.

Canary Wharf hosts lots of public events such as open air and indoor concerts, the London Ice Sculpting Festival, comedy nights, and movie screenings. Many events are free and for more information please visit www.mycanarywharf.com

If jazz, blues and soul is your thing, then check out Boisdale of Canary Wharf. Live music is played six nights a week with fantastic views of Canary Wharf. The Scottish themed restaurant also offers the finest beef, lamb, game and seafood and, if you like whisky, the bar in the restaurant holds over 1,000 bottles of malt whisky and claims to be one of the most extensive and magnificent whisky bars in the world.

"Excellent"

We stayed for two weeks in March 2014. The apartment is a large for a central London, on the 5th floor of a modern gated block with views (and balconies) looking both east over docklands and west directly over the Thames towards the City. Very comfortably furnished throughout and in excellent condition, There is on site secure parking and a gym.
The owner, Nicholas, could not have been more welcoming and provides absolutely everything you may need.
Regarding location, all the modern amenities, shops, supermarkets and restaurants of Canary Wharf are 10 minutes walk. Local pubs, cafes and convenience stores are even closer. Greenwich is 20 minutes walk via the pedestrian tunnel under the Thames. Walks along the Thames path and the Limehouse canals are superb. For the less energetic three very frequent bus routes stop 2 minutes from the apartment block, the DLR to the City, the Jubilee line or the Thames Clipper fast ferry to Waterloo and the West End are all just 10 minutes walk away.
We were delighted with this property and would recommend it without hesitation to anybody wanting peaceful, secure, high quality accommodation within very easy striking distance of central London.

"Lovely apartment, friendly welcome, definitely would recommend"

We stayed here for 3 nights in half term (Feb) with my wife and three children (ages 14, 12 and 9). We were met by Nicholas (owner) who could not have been friendlier in showing us around.
He had left us a welcome pack which even included a bottle of wine as it was my wife's birthday during our stay.
As the apartment comes with secured parking, we bought our own food/ drink for the stay but there is a Tesco express within 10 minutes' walk for anything that was forgotten.
The apartment is about a 15 min walk to Canary Wharf but if you have travel/ oyster cards, all the frequent busses that pass near the entrance of the car park will go there.
The apartment itself is stylish and modern with wonderful views over the Thames and some of the London landmarks in the distance.
We would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to come again if we were to stay in London again.

"Fantastic apartment, a must stay, would return again"

We stayed in this apartment in July 2013 (a VERY belated review, apologies!)
We travelled with 6 adults and a 14 month old baby. The apartment is beautiful, very modern, wonderful views on the Thames, very clean and with all the amenities that you need for a self catering stay. The week we stayed the UK was having a heat wave and even though the apartment doesn't have air conditioning which we knew and were fine with, we arrived to the owner Nicholas putting together recently purchased fans just for our stay, a very welcome surprise and very thoughtful. In fact everything in the apartment is very thought through. There is lots if information bono outfit London and sightseeing etc. There are also Oyster cards in the apartment which are available for guests to top up and use during their stay. The owners once lived there so it very much has the feel of being a home rather than a hotel.
The complex is gated so is very safe and the nearest tube station is just one very short bus ride away so for us it was a perfect location to travel into the city without having to pay extortionate London rental prices. For us, using all three bedrooms the apartment was great value for money.
There is a Tesco express on the bus route and is approx a 10/15 walk from the apartment if you fancy a little stroll. There are some local take away places within walking distance also along with a park next door.
Just to reiterate it is an apartment in a high floor so if you do have children travelling with you just be aware that you will need to watch them with windows, balcony etc but that really goes without saying as a parent. We had a toddling 14 month old with us and we didn't find it a problem being in a high apartment and the balcony is railed and very safe.
We all loved staying here, was the best accommodation of our 2 week trip, and we cannot recommend this apartment highly enough!

"Excellent upscale apartment with great view of Thames."

Nicholas is an extraordinarily generous and thoughtful owner. He responded immediately and helpfully each time an issue arose over the course of our one month stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds and linen were of fine hotel quality, and the wifi was powerful. The furniture was comfortable and ample for six people in the lounge with its stunning views of the river and London. We used buses to get to supermarkets and the underground, because it is a bit far for walking, though doable. The concierge service was very friendly and helpful.

"Excellent accommodation with a wonderful view of Thames"

We had a great stay beginning with a very frendly welcome from owners Nicholas and Yvonne who made sure they had provided everything we needed. We found transport easy to access and reliable and were able to travel to all parts of London without effort. The property was large and most comfortable for three couples and well served by 24 hour security who were very friendly. Our friends, my wife and I had a great time and we would recommend it as a great place to stay in London.
