A privately owned 60m2 ex council flat (public housing) on the 7th floor of an eight storey residential block. The flat has recently undergone complete refurbishment, is double glazed and has central heating throughout.. All entrances to the building are key controlled and are backed up with 24 hour video camera, warden patrolled and inspected. On entering the building there are two lifts servicing the 7th floor from the main foyer. Both lifts and corridors are fitted with 24 hour surveillance video camera. The entrance door to the apartment has been fitted with deadlocks, key spy hole and a letter box. Once inside you are welcomed by an open plan lounge fitted with white wooden floors throughout. Branching off from the entrance hall is the bathroom and then via a hallway two double-size bedrooms and brand new kitchen/diner. The bathroom has low ceiling fitted with recess lights, bath/shower screen, toilet, wall mirror, floor to ceiling porcelain tiles, towel rail and towels. Both bedrooms (one double and one twin) come as double size standard equipped with wardrobes and bed linen. The kitchen /diner is fitted with brand new units and appliances. There is 4-6 seating capacity around the table. The open plan lounge is furnished with corner sofa (which can be used as a bed), two Victorian armchairs, coffee table, sideboard, MP3 docking station and a LCD 32" TV with integrated DVD. Sony Play station with range of games. Please note, that the block is a 1970s block (see photos) scheduled for major refurbishment but the price isn't Mayfair either.

"A great holiday in London"
We have rented this flat for 4 persons ( 2 adults and 2 teenagers) for 8 days and our stay there was nearly perfect. At first sight, the apartment block itself actually didn't look that promising from the outside but the area was unexpectedly quiet, so there wasn't any noise from other flats. The people living there were friendly and one lives quite central, just 10 minutes away from the next train station on foot and then about another 10 minutes away from the city. The flat itself is bright, clean and completely furnished. Demian was a very polite host and he surprised us with a big bowl of fruits an an already half-filled fridge. The handing over of the keys and the payment of the deposit was very reliable aswell.

We stayed 10days in that apartment and its nice . Only problem which we mentioned Mr Dejan is no fan and very light so in morning around 4.00am we woke up because no dark curtains so he told us he will arrange this. its summar London is hot so rooms were very very hot during our stay. we enjoyed but if Mr Dejan not arrange these two important elements then we not recomend any one to stay their. if he arrange then excellent apartment.

"Do not hesitate to book this flat!"
We are a Swiss family with three children (7, 11 and 13) who stayed in this flat for two weeks in July. As many have mentioned before, the sordid-looking surroundings (staircase, lift) are a real put-off and the building itself is an eyesore, but as the owner was honest about this we knew what to expect. A lot of families (of African origin) with small children live in this housing estate and we never encountered anything strange or felt unsafe. The flat is tastefully decorated and furnished, very bright and has everything you need: Washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, deep freezer, PlayStation, a wide range of books, umbrellas, iron etc.! Besides, you have a stunning view, you can even see the London Eye. It is perfect for four people, five is o.k. (but we wonder where you would put up the 6th person). Dejan was always on time, very polite, helpful and correct and he provided us with a very generous welcome pack. After a long journey (we came to London by train) we were so grateful that shopping wasn't the first thing we had to do. If you are not familiar with the London public transport system, you might find it a drawback that there is no tube station nearby. But Clapham Station is just a stone's throw away and there are trains to Victoria and Waterloo every 2-4 minutes. (But be aware that children (>5) have to pay on Southern and Southwestern train services!) We would definitely recommend that you stay with Dejan!

"Comodo e ospitale"
Un appartamento situato in un'area ben fornita da autobus e treno (per chi arriva dall'aereo porto di gatwik è perfetto). Massima ospitalitá e disponibilitá da nell'accoglienza, è stato come sentirsi a casa. Vista notturna dall'alto su Londra.

"Perfect for a London weekend with friends"
As read on other reviews, the street and the appearance of the building don't do justice to the gem inside. Such a lovely, new and nicely decorated flat with all amenities (hair drier, washing machine and dishwasher, oyster cards, umbrellas, iphone/ipod dock, dvds, towels, satelite tv...). The welcome pack was amazing (plenty of fruit and everything you need for an English breakfast: eggs, milk, 3 types of juice, tomatoes, 2 types of bread, ham, cheese, mozzarella...). The flat is very cozy, warm and clean. Really quite and with lovely views of many iconic London buildings. The neighbourhood feels safe, we never saw anything weird, even walking at very early hours in the morning/very late at night. 3min walk to Grant Road exit of Clapham Junction Station, perfect public transport links by train and overground. 2 min walk to several bus stops. Dejan (flat owner) was always nice, prompt and correct when arranging the contract and appointment on arrival. Unfortunately he was on holiday on the dates of our stay, but his friend, Mr Kenade (very nice and chatty) took care of us. I'd also say it's a nice flat for a girls stay since it has so many mirrors along the corridor and in the rooms. Lovely stay, I will recommend it and I would go back tomorrow!

"Like Fifty Shades of Grey, never judge a book by it's cover!"
This was a great find and we would definitely use again. The owner has been honest about the external aspects of the building but the flat itself we found met exactly what we needed. The cost was exceptional reasonable for London and with the extras such as the Welcome Pack plus Oyster Cards which still had monies left on them (remember to ask Dejan when you arrive) I don't think we could have wished for more. The flat was a few minutes walk from Clapham Junction and had everything we needed and more. The beds are comfy due to being memory foam and the flat well presented. The owner was very helpful and returned our deposit at the agreed time before leaving, so all good. Don't think twice: if you're coming to London book this flat - the price is reasonable, the flat comfortable, everything you need provided, close to public transport. What else do you need? The next time we decide to take a trip to London we will be booking this flat again and in the meantime recommending to friends! Somerset, UK.

"Great central location"
We stayed in the flat for 2 weeks during a very cold March. The flat was incredibly warm and very comfortable for 4 people. The inside of the flat is very clean and nicely decorated. As mentioned in the description the block is in need of refurbishment but this didn't really affect our stay as it was so lovely inside. It is only a short walk to Clapham Junction Station and the local shops so it is a great location to stay in. Dejan also provided some food and fruit which was much appreciated and the wi-fi provided was excellent.

"Very well located modern property"
This was a really nice surprise.The flat is just three minutes walk from Clapham Junction station which is very convenient for commuting. The property is very modern , spotlessly clean and offers everything what you need for your stay. An owner is very friendly and helpful. With free Wifi and Sky it was a real pleasure staying in this property. Tnx for everything

"Still under impression..."
This was the best choice I have ever made. The building is as described - grim and brown - ready for modernisation but clean, quiet and safe. Security doors and cameras everywhere. Our host Dejan was very cool guy... nothing like you would expect in London. The flat was spotlessly clean, our welcome pack and fruit bowl very generous. Dejan also provided Oyster cards for easier and cheaper London travel and also was there 15 minutes before our departure with our Security Deposit so we saved money on rather expensive bank transfer. We will be back I promisse Thank you once again
