Further details indoors:
On entering Le Sorelle you are enveloped in the 6,500+ sq ft of luxury. The warm walnut floors and oak walls in the deck bar/lounge draw you in as your attention is lured to the hand crafted wall sconces and stainless steel details reminiscent of America's Machine Deco Period that gave us the Chrysler Building in New York city. This area has a full bar as well as seating/dining for 18+. Opening the glass wall of doors out to the garden exposes a seating/dining/sunning area for more than 40 that can be individually designed for your needs and extra tables and chairs stowed as necessary. At the forward end of the main garden is the spa garden with lounging/seating/dining area for 12+ arranged as you like. Our large BBQ can be in either garden or we can take it out to the quayside next to Le Sorelle and under the sycamore trees where we can also have dining for more than 100.
Two deck cabin suites each with seating, private dining and queen plush beds offer 5 star luxury and privacy. The baths for these suites include bath tubs for two, 2 hand basins a separate shower in one and a hand held shower in the other, and stainless steel towel warmers. The forward deck cabin suite can also have a private garden with the spa and two massage tables for a complete private spa experience. Otherwise, the spa garden area is accessible for all guests aboard through the main garden. The after deck cabin suite can privately use the wheelhouse and its amazing views across Canary Wharf and over towards the O2 Arena as well as the aft upper deck.
One step down from the bar and just past the private office and deck powder room is the ladder up to the wheelhouse offering the best views. Here there is a table for 10+ and access to the aft upper deck that can be set up for bar/dining or lounging.
From the bar the staircase leads you below deck where you will find the media room on your left. It is complete with a large screen, Bose entertainment system that sends separately programmed music into the deck bar & garden as well as to the below deck lounge and hundreds of books. Next you enter the performance kitchen with its open layout designed so 12+ can be entertained by a chef team or where an entire large family can gather to continue their cooking tradition. It is surrounded by a countertop with bar stools and opens into the dining area with a table for up to 16. Above the table is a full length skylight that allows sun and stars to illuminate your dining experience. The lounge area has further books and serves as the main stage for live music.
Through the double doors at the end of the lounge is an accommodation hall with 4 cabins each with private baths. The baths are fully tiled, have tubs and hand held showers. 3 of these cabins have queen plush beds and 1 has twin plush beds. There is ample cedar lined closet space in all cabins. A laundry with washer and dryer, iron and ironing board and closets with additional linens and towels as well as toiletries are on the hallway. Another separate full bath with shower is next to the laundry. There are also 2 separate powder rooms, one on deck and one below.
Each bedroom is equipped with hair dryer, toiletries, bath robes and all linens, towels and bath mats.
Le sorelle has a self contained staff accommodation in her bow so there is always someone available for any emergency you have or to serve you in a moments notice if you require the fully staffed option.
Available as self catering or fully staffed and catered including all pantry shopping.
Further details outdoors:
Additionally to the gardens on board, Le Sorelle sits on the quayside where sycamore trees shade a beautiful cobblestoned terrace that can be used as an outdoor BBQ and dining area. It is a great place to set up your easel to paint the skyline as well.
Just two blocks away is a hire parking deck that can accommodate any number of cars and is available 24 hours. But no car is ever needed as public transport is practically on the doorstep and a minicab operator is just a block away.
Within a 10 minute walk you will find a Waitrose and Asda. Tesco Express is literally less than 100 mts walk.
Further details
Your arrival at Le Sorelle will be welcomed by a manager. If you have arranged for your shopping list to be delivered it will be on board. For those choosing the fully staffed and catered option, the entire staff will be on board to great you and will have all your requirements assigned for the extent of your stay.
Conditions
Le Sorelle is available year round for corporate and private guests. Reservations should be made well in advance with a 50% deposit due at time of booking. The remaining 50% must be paid 2 months in advance of arrival. Any cancellation during the period 2 months prior to arrival will incur a cancellation penalty unless we can rebook the time with another client.
For full house rentals, we will require a £500 breakage deposit that will be refunded to you within 14 days of your completed rental. Additional charges will be made against that deposit if smoking has occurred on board during your stay. Please advise your guest of the strict NO SMOKING policy on board at all times.
Despite being over 6,500 sq ft of luxury Le Sorelle is a boat. Therefore, we will cover all safety protocols with you on arrival and you should adhere to all safety regulations to ensure that your stay on board is an enjoyable one. She is equipped with fire fighting cannisters and life vests and you will be made aware of the location of all your safety needs. There will always be a member of staff in the staff quarters at night and one will always be available by phone day or night.
In spite of all the safety protocols we insist that you recognize that children, older adults, handicapped persons, pregnant women or persons with any impairment limiting their ability to keep their balance should never be left alone while on exterior decks or in areas where access is by ladder. This is strictly required to insure the safety of you and your guests and not intended to be a determent to a relaxing holiday. The message is to be prudent about safety so the end of your stay is as pleasant as the first moment.
Our gangway can easily accommodate handicapped access but there is one step beyond that to get into the bar and there are typical boat thresholds at the entrance to every cabin and toilet. If your guest is wheelchair bound Le Sorelle will not be an option. However, if your guest is only partially in the wheelchair perhaps only to sit during the day then the bar/lounge, garden and one of the deck cabin suites might be a fine accommodation. Just realize that while the access to the below deck area is by traditional staircase with a handrail many treks up and down can be wearying for a person with limited mobility.
We expect that any children you plan to have in your party will be identified and counted at time of booking. Le Sorelle management requires that no child under 14 is ever left unattended on an outside deck. While inside make sure that doors cannot be opened by young ones so they remain safely inside until an adult takes them out. All floor surfaces on board are either wood or tile and are very hard. Please watch your young ones at all times.
No smoking is allowed on board Le Sorelle. The quayside offers a smoking alternative for you or your guests.
