1. Take your shoes off area! (I've spent a lifetime travelling, and love the cultures where they take there shoes off at the entrance). The house feels cleaner and lighter too!!

LOCATION

Its the best area if you love a market. - Close to Brick-lane, Spitalfields, Broadway, Bethnal Green, Whitechapel, Roman Road, and Collumbia road flower market. (My Sunday ritual!, flowers galore, quirky shopping galore, art, food, entertainment - the East is buzzing).

The area is multi-coloured - like the house! With a rich mix of culture, from the East-enders, English, Carribeans, Turkish, Greeks, Indians, Pakistani, Bengali, French, Spanish, Brazilian, Polish...the list goes on.....Mainly families and young professionals

Local shops - 30 seconds away! For a bigger shop I prefer to order on-line and have groceries delivered.

Neighbors - Make-up artists, Fashion designers, Graphic designers. Quiet

The no 8 bus (24hour) is 20 steps from the front door, with easy access to shoreditch, brick lane, liverpool street, tottenham court road, oxford street.

Review from latest guest "The house was in excellent condition, spacious and thoroughly clean. The decor is imaginative whilst still being thoroughly practical. All appliances worked well, including reliable fast Internet connection. I had been looking for a West London property, but the location was highly convenient for central London with a bus stop one minute away direct for Oxford Circus.

Claire was prompt and helpful in responding to all inquiries before and during the rental period."

London - rich with art, architecture, culture, markets, restuarants....you name it ...london has it!

Central London/Zone 2

Fantastic location in a hip and culturally diverse area of London. In the immediate area is Roman road market and Victoria park. Take the no 8 bus towards Hoxton and the lively local street markets of Columbia Road flower market, Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Spitalfields and Pettycoat Lane. Much loved by artists and city financiers alike the area offers vibrant restaurants, music venues, bars and night life as well as renowned galleries and museums - the Cube and Geffrye Museum being perhaps best known.

Alternatively take a leisurely stroll through the City to St Pauls, over the Millennium Bridge to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and have some lunch at The Tate Modern. Or head West and wonder around antique Bloomsbury, explore the wonderful treasures of the British Museum and pop in at one of the four Inns of Court to get a feel for medieval London. If you are feeling energetic there are many cycle paths along the canals which are great for poodling around on a lazy Sunday with a pit stop at the local pub.

Got to do some work? The apartment is just 20 minutes away from the financial district and Liverpool Street. There are excellent train connections plus 24hr bus links for easy access to Central London.

Your choices are endless as the area truly has something for everyone.

"Beautifully decorated, great location - fantastic stay!"

I stayed here with 5 friends, visiting London for the weekend. It's in a great location - on our short visit it was ideal for visiting Spitalfields market and the Columbia Road flower market; as well as getting into central London easily for a night out.

The house itself is really spacious, and beautifully done. Every single room is great. Sophisticated, but really comfortable also, I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Recommend for Olypmic Game, good warm nice lovely place.

"Perfect atmosphare & great access"

Our group of 8 people stayed in this lovely house for a week and can totally recommend it to others. The main thing was that we all slept really well - there must be something done really right in the planning. We got a lot of inspiration from the decoration of the house as everything is so well thought through. The house is very well located and has easy access to public transportation.
We would definately recommend this place to our friend and would stay there again if we're in London again.
