The South East England region

Greenwich is located in to the south east of London along the River Thames. Greenwich is part of central London and there is very easy access to all the key London tourist attractions, such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and Trafalgar Square.

There is also good access to the seaside both the Kent Coast (Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate) and the Sussex Coast (Brighton).

The lovely Kent countryside is also easily accessible from Greenwich.

Central London/Zone 2

There are many local attractions in Greenwich. It boasts a Royal Park (which will be hosting the Olympic Equestrian events), the Royal Observatory with the Meridian Line (Greenwich Meantime) and Planetarium, the National Maritime Museum, the Old Royal Naval College with the Painted Hall. No longer a Naval College this site now houses Trinity College of Music and Greenwich Univeristy. It features regularly in movies - most recently being the backdrop for the Pirates of the Caribbean Movie. The famous Cutty Sark is being restored and is situated in the heart of Greenwich village.

As well as the Maritime Museum, there is the bijoux Fan Museum, two theatres and an independent cinema - all no more than 10 minutes walk away from the apartment. The Queen's House designed by Inigo Jones houses the Maritime Museum's art collection.

Greenwich is also famous for it's covered market featuring an array of local artisans selling their wear from food to fashion. There are many boutiques in the area as well as interesting places to eat.

During the evenings, Greenwich comes to life with a range of bars and clubs including a famous Comedy Club.

"Perfect apartment"

"Fantastic comfortable apartment"

We stayed in is apartment for a long weekend and found it very comfortable and well equipped. The rooms are larger than we expected from the photos and we felt very at home there. The apartment has off street parking and is accessed by a gate with a code so it feels secure.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Naz met us at the gate and showed us around. We were given his contact number in case of any problems. The welcome pack was very much appreciated with milk, coffee, tea, biscuits etc and there are toiletries, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid as well.

The apartment is around 10 minutes walk from Greenwich DLR station and Central London can be easily reached from there.

We would definitely go back to this apartment and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

"Genuine Home from Home"

The phrase gets used a lot loosely, but this place has all the genuine comforts of home. The rooms, facilities and furnishings are all very welcoming. Almost as welcoming as the owners. Friendly, no hassles groovy people. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Twenty minute bus journey into the city from the front doorstep too. Great stuff. Will be back. Definitely.

"Great location and accommodation"

We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation is well furnished, clean and comfortable. Naz and Jane were really helpful, friendly and flexible. There are local shops to buy groceries.
It took about 10 minutes to walk into the centre of Greenwich, I would definitely stay there again.

"Perfect pad"

We (2 adults and 2 young children) stayed at Undercliff for a week in May. Great apartment equipped with everything you could need for a home away from home . Good location to explore all things Greenwich and easy to get into the city or Canary Wharf.

"Super !"
