This apartment is located on the famous "Prices Candle Factory" in Battersea. Here they used to make candles for the royal Family and all of the churches for many years and had the official royal appointment. Its just yards from the river Thames with its restaurants and pubs just a stroll along the river to get to. Battersea Park is around 20 minutes walk away which has a boating lake where you can hire rowing boats. You can also hire cycles in the park to ride around on. There is an adventure playground for the children to enjoy and the park caters for everyone. The Natural History,Science museum etc are just 10 minutes in a taxi or for the more energetic approx 40 minutes walk. Chessington world of adventures is approx 25 minutes away
Candlemakers is also located next to Hotel Verta, a deluxe boutique five star hotel and spa. Here you can have dinner in the award winning "Red Pocket Chinese" restaurant or visit "Spa Verta" for a bit of pampering before your big night out. "Couldn't fault our stay!"
We had been looking for a apartment in London for a few weeks and had failed to find one.. We finally stumbled on this apartment online and thought it would be perfect! I contacted the owner - Steve and he replied quickly and couldn't have been any more helpful if he tried!
We had come to London to go to Comic Con at Earls Court and the apartment was a perfect distance (short ride in a cab or two stops on the train). When we arrived Steve was there to greet us and give us details on the apartment, the welcome back helped for once he had gone! However he was helpful throughout the weekend when I had a query! The apartment itself was extremely clean and had lots of room. It was perfect for the 4 of us that had gone down for the weekend!
I would recommend this apartment and Global Property to anyone who is looking to get away for a weekend in London!
I will definitely look at going back again if I was there for the weekend!
