The South East England region

People don't visit London for the weather. London has rich history and a diverse cosmopolitain atmosphere. Truly a city that never sleeps, there is great music venues, trendy night clubs and of course the friendly pubs.

But its not just a party town, there is an abundance of historic sights to see and a multitude of cultural centres to visit.

It doesn't matter what weekend you come to London (or even if its a weekend at all!), it doesn't matter if its raining, it doesn't matter if you didn't plan in advance, there is always something interesting, surprising and satisfying to do and see here.

Central London/Zone 2

Shepherds Bush and Chiswick are both walking distance there is an abundance of great restaurants and quirky shops in the local area. Hammersmith offers the Apollo is one of London's top busiest venues with regular shows all the time.

With the historic river thames only walking distance from the front door the apartment is situated perfectly for day trips to the beautiful Kew Garden, Richmond Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.

Popular attractions such as the Natural History Museum, Science museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Tate Britain, The Serpentine Gallery, The Saatchi Gallery and more are only short rides away on either the frequent bus or underground services.

Only a little further away you can find The British museums, Tate modern, South Bank Centre, the London Eye, The Crystal and most excitingly the Emirates Cable car over the River Thames.
