A stunning 2900 sq ft Penthouse which includes almost 500 sq feet of terraces on three floors with views of the river Thames and the London eye,gherkin, houses of parliament etc. Very spacious & an excellent vacation property. On the 6th.7th & 8th floor with private lift access to your floor. An excellent base to enjoy the museums,sightseeing, theatreland etc or enjoy the days and evenings on one of the 2 roof terraces this Penthouse has. Hotels with spa ,bars & restaurants all within walking distance & a lovely river walk down to the famous "Cake Boy" which is owned by french chef Eric Lanlard and also the lovely waterfront restaurant and bar where you can sit out and relax.

The floorplans and Pictures speak for themselves, everybody that has stayed her have said that the property is better than the pictures.
There are 3 double beds 140cm wide. We have 2 double sofa beds in 2 of the bedrooms & we have 1 single sofa bed in 1 bedroom & a sofa bed in the dressing room. we also have 2 single fold up beds. We can cater for upto 12-13 people. The property is big enough to cater for this number quite comfortably.

Location: This property is an excellent base to explore London & Beyond. There are bus routes into central London & theatre land & the bus stops right outside. Clapham Junction train Station which is only 0.4 miles away and 10 minutes walk is one of the busiest stations in the UK & has direct routes into London and the excellent underground service we have here. If you prefer a walk you are only 10 Minutes from Battersea Park which has a boating lake, bicycle rental, small Zoo and an athletics track all on the banks of the Thames. A 20 minute walk and you can be in the famous Kings Road with its many restaurants, shops & antiques market. Just moments from the penthouse. We are also near to London's only Heliport. Here you can charter a helicopter to anywhere in the country and return back to your base within moments of landing. This penthouse has fantastic living space & great uninterrupted views across London to The London Eye & The Houses of Parliament, etc.

Additional services: We have the facility to cater for whatever you need. We can organize a chauffeur to look after you while you are here. Most requests can be catered for including Housekeeper,chef etc We do require at least 14 days notice if you require any additional services. This is a self catering property.

We do not allow smoking in the Penthouse but you are welcome to smoke on the terrace.
We take a £1000 security/damages deposit that is refunded within 4-6 days of end of rental subject to no breakages etc.
Conditions
I will require a deposit with the booking & the balance to be paid 45 days before arrival. Bank to bank transfer is normally the easiest way to pay.
You will need to complete a rental agreement.
Smoking is not allowed in the penthouse 'BUT you are free to smoke on the terraces

Battersea is just on the opposite side of the river to Chelsea so just moments away from the famous "Kings road"
Its an excellent area and perfect base for exploring London. Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge etc are just minutes by Bus or Taxi. The bus stops outside the Penthouse and takes you to victoria within minutes.
The Central London/Zone 2 / Battersea area
This penthouse is on the famous "Prices Candle Factory" in Battersea. They made candles for the royal Family for many years and had the official royal appointment. Its just yards from the river Thames with its restaurants and pubs just a stroll along the river to get to. Battersea Park is around 20 minutes walk away which has a boating lake where you can hire rowing boats. You can also hire cycles in the park to ride around on. There is an adventure playground for the children to enjoy and the park caters for everyone. The Natural History,Science museum etc are just 10 minutes in a taxi or for the more energetic approx 40 minutes walk.
Londons Only Heliport is in the same area & a new Hotel is opening in March 2010 just across from the Penthouse so will have restaurants,spa,bar etc.
Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge etc are just minutes by Bus or Taxi.

The property is very easy to get to either by Bus,Rail or Taxi from Heathrow & Gatwick airports. The Penthouse is seven minutes walk from Clapham Junction Station which is one of the busiest stations in the country. From Victoria Bus and coach station you can get a 44 or 170 Bus and it will drop you outside the entrance to the Penthouse ( the bus journey will take around 10-15 minutes). A taxi from Heathrow will cost around £30 and from Gatwick around £50. I can arrange a people carrier for up to 8/9 people from Heathrow for £75.

My family and I were the first to rent this property and had a wonderful stay. It is elegantly furnished, filled with light, has state of the art appliances, and is spacious with two balconies. Robert was very helpful, almost like staying at a friend's house. The bus stops almost in front of the flat made it simple and easy to get anywhere using the multi-day underground passes. There is a wonderful pub right on the Thames as well as other restaurants right nearby. The only concern you might have is that it is a multi-story flat and there are stairs which might not make it suitable for the elderly or those traveling with very small children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend this rental.

We were very happy the with Penthouse which we rented for business retreat. It was a great house with amazing architecture and views across London.
The access through Clapham Junction was easy and often times faster then connections from central London.
Be sure and go to La Gazetta one of the best French restaurants in London.

Well where do i start,
Firstly i think you should include "Magnificent" To the list, so i can give such a rating to this property.
I had the great pleasure of occupying this property for a short weekend stay, and without a doubt this has been by far the best Home Away experience ever. This Penthouse oozes with class, sophistication, creativity and luxurious comfort.
I was in need of a location to impress my American Guests who flew to london for the weekend and i could not have wished for a better apartment. The most impressive element about this experience was the accuracy of descriptions on the website . If you are impressed by the photographs you see on this site, then i guarantee there will be no disappointments once you arrive.
The location is perfect, wether on foot or car, you are moments away from shops and stations. The neighborhood felt safe and secure, the garage parking was definitely a special bonus.
Inside the penthouse there is a vibrant atmosphere, with true comfortable and quality furniture and also very spacious. But just as i thought things couldn't get any better, the evening came and as the sun went down the views of London's most remarkable sites became visible. The views from all corners of this penthouse were simply and utterly unsurpassed. I could not believe how vivid the London Eye, Canary Wharf and other landmarks appeared. All my friends and family who witnessed this site were blown away and stood speechless for several minutes each day to admire the true beauty.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were all specious and beautifully decorated, especially the third bedroom which had the red/white color scheme and the on suite bathroom. The lounge was of a practical size and all the house equipment worked like magic.
The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances which made things so much easier.
The Terrance was stunning, with immense amount of space and also great views from such a high level.
All in all, this property exceeded my expectations, the sophistication and artistic decorations throughout the penthouse made this experience one to never forget. Above all, the Helpfulness of Robert, and his friendly and warming approach gave me so much faith that me,my family and friends from the US were in good hands.
I have every faith that i will be looking to stay at this property again.
Highly recommended to groups of friends, Family or even the romantic getaway. Its PERFECT

This penthouse is an excellent location. I'm french and my english is medium. It's very clean and it's near the centrer of London by bus and metro. The decoration is perfect and the rooms are spacious an very agreable. The view is Great. To finish, the propriety is an agreable person and the welcome is perfect.

Luxury Penthouse

We have just returned from a week's family holiday in London where we stayed in this fabulous apartment. Having now stayed in numerous rental homes both in this country and abroad we feel well equipped to make comparisons and to say that this one ticked all the right boxes for us making it overall the best holiday rental home we've ever stayed in. There's no need to describe how beautiful the accommodation is as you can see that for yourself when you view the website. The listing description said the apartment was "truly stunning" and if anything the apartment turned out to be even better than we'd anticipated! Of all the apartments/houses/villas we've stayed in over the years this is the only one we could honestly describe as"immaculate" or "spotlessly clean". The linen on the beds was beautiful and the towels in the bathrooms very luxurious. Everything had been done to provide maximum comfort during our stay. What made our stay that extra bit special was the very professional customer service we received from the owner Bob. From the minute we made enquiries about the accommodation right through to our morning of departure Bob handled everything so professionally and efficiently. He was there to meet us on arrival at the agreed time and provided us with an unexpected welcome pack (bottles of wine, freshly ground coffee, cereal etc!). We have had experience of owners turning up late, leaving the keys for us in the grounds of the accommodation (!) etc so Bob's personal touch and professionalism was quite refreshing and impressive.
The location was ideal for anyone wishing to spend any length of time In London on holiday or on business. When travelling around London we tended to catch a bus rather than travel by train/tube and the bus stop into Knightsbridge, Victoria etc was not even 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There was also a small grocery store within walking distance which was useful from time to time.
We have no hesitation in recommending this property as your perfect holiday home. We certainly expect to return to it for future holidays spent in London and wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere.

We have a cleaning charge of £145 -£185 (upto 6 people £145 & £185 for upto 12 people which covers a clean of the property (it is very big) and also linens,towels etc.If you are staying for longer than 1 week you may want to have another clean change of linen etc done midway through. This would cost £145-£185 also
You must ask permission before booking if you want to use the Penthouse for anything other than using as a holiday home, for example filming,party,gathering etc. & written permission must be given by the owner.
We require a security deposit of £1000 which will be returned within 4 days subject to no damage etc
This can be paid just 48 hours before arrival or in cash on the day.
Please contact me with your payment preference. I find that Bank to bank is normally the easiest.
You only have to read the reviews to get an idea of how we work, with honesty and integrity.
We also take payment by credit/debit card via Paypal but this does carry a 4% surcharge.
