The house is situated in historic Blackheath, one of London’s true original villages which still has a timeless quality so that is surprising to see red London buses passing through the centre. Stroll across the heath to Greenwich Park taking in one of the finest views of the Thames and the City of London, before visiting the attractions of Greenwich: the Observatory, the Royal Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House.
The area has excellent transport links: trains, buses and DLR. Trains taking 15 minutes go direct to the London Eye, the Tate Modern, Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, and nearby London’s theatre land. Europe’s major music venue the 02 is a short bus journey away.

A secluded footpath leads onto the heath at Blackheath and from here it is a gentle stroll across the heath into Greenwich Park to the Royal Observatory.

The house is very conveniently situated for central London locations. Direct trains from Blackheath station 5 minutes walk away take you to the stations for the London Eye (15 minutes) and Trafalgar Square.
You can be in Trafalgar Square door to door in half-an-hour, right by London’s theatre land. From here you can walk along The Mall to Buckingham Palace or down to Westminster to see the Houses of Parliament.
Even closer are the attractions of the South Bank: the Tate Modern Gallery, from where you can walk across the Thames Millennium Bridge to St Paul’s Cathedral or along the river to the recreated Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Or hang out on the South Bank itself enjoying the unique atmosphere and views.
