The South East England / Greater London region

Set in historic Westminster, the apartment is in Central Marylebone. This part of London is stylish and classy, known best to native Londoners, a hidden gem with first rate restaurants and shops. The buildings are historic, dating from the Georgian era, elegant, with the famous cream coloured John Nash architecture in abundance.
A short walk from the apartment lies Regent's Park, famous for its formal gardens, boating lake and play parks. In the summer, the open air theatre stages productions and concerts. Heading south takes you to Oxford Street and Mayfair, a short ten minute stroll. This area is romantic and would suit couples. For families the choice of activities are endless, with world class museums, art, architecture, shopping and parks. A short ride takes you to the South Bank with the London Eye (big wheel ride with views of London) and the art galleries, a perfect place to eat out with river views.

Very comfortable flat, eventhough the walk up to the 3rd floor (no lift). All the appliances in very good condition. Excelent broadband service. Wash and dryer inside the flat is a real plus. The kitchen is very well equipped. Sofabeds (2) are comfortable and easy to pull out. Simon is very attentive and helpful. Edgware Road Station is quite near, so you have Bakerloo line (to Waterloo and South trains) and Northern Line in a stone's throw. Paddington Station is quite easy to get from the flat, so it takes half an hour from Heathrow to the flat. The same for Kings Cross and Euston Stations, also nearby the flat, making it easy to reach northern destinations like Liverpool, Manchester and Edimburgh. A Marks and Spencer store next to the tube station. Two hundred meters from the flat, in Edgware Road, you find one Cafe Nero and Patisserie Valerie. I strongly recommend this flat. |
Guestbook for Marylebone Apartment
We had a fab holiday here in August 2009. We loved the apartment, it is newly done up and clean and fresh. We were very close to all the sights of London. We loved having breakfast in the cafe on the corner and had lovely meals out in the local area. Spent a fortune in the shops on nearby Oxford Street. We want to move in.........Steve and Caroline, from Leeds UK
