Pennington Court is in a hassle free location which is central to all means of transport in the south east.You can take the train south to Brighton, take a walk on the famous pier, or drive south to Stonehenge and explore the ancient monument. Head east out to south end on sea and Margate classical English seaside towns.

The easy access to the motorway means that you can access many of the historical cities on the perimetre of London, Cambridge, Oxford, Tunbridge Wells and Windsor the residence of the Royal Family. There are also many fun parks to choose from or simply pop into the city centre and go sightseeing in the city centre

Pennington Court is located next to 200metres from St. Katherines Dock and at the top of Wapping a very popular choice for people working in the City or Canary Wharf and for tourists. St. Katherines Dock is a picturesque marina surrounded by modern, purpose-built apartments, the largest marina dock in London has many great restaurants and bars to choose from and a hotel with a bar view of Tower Bridge on the 3rd floor.

The Tower of London and Butlers Wharf are other classic tourist locations which five minutes walk from the apartment. You can walk into the city centre from the St. Katherines dock and pop into one of the many bars and restaurants along the way. The Tower Hill area has many other bars, restaurants and great transport links.

"everything we hoped for"

We had a wonderful experience.
The apartment was very easy to get to. Stephen met us and was very accommodating.
and was very well equipped. very comfortable.
I cannot say enough about how pleased we were with the location and
help from Stephen.
I would certainly recommend the property and would love to stay there again.

"Comfortable apartment, centrally located."

This was a very comfortable apartment with all the mod cons and in a terrific location. It was close to Tower Hill station which made getting around easy.

The owner was very welcoming showing us around the flat and pointing out the local amenities.

St Katherine's Dock is a short walk away which has a good range of bars and restaurants, local supermarkets are also close by.

The only down side is that it is on a very busy road (24 x7) and if you are a light sleeper it could be a problem.

"Ideal location"

Thank you Stephen for answering all our questions BEFORE booking as we wanted to be sure the description could be taken seriously and we enjoyed our week in the flat. As we travel to London quite regularly we did not require to stay in an area full of tourists. The location of the flat is ideal as buses,DLR,tube,railway stations are all in a walking distance and take you in a few minutes to all parts of the town.Waitrose supermarket is only 10 minutes from the flat and there is a small express shop just opposite the flat. Providing the weather is fine,it is a pleasure to have a meal or cup of tea at the marina and walking along the Thames offers a panoramic view .To gain time one can even travel in 15 minutes from the nearest pier to the London Eye pier. If travelling by car there is a private carpark and one is already on the main road into/ out of the city centre.Having the wifi broadband free is also appreciated.The flat is in a small well maintained block of flats and no noise was heard from other residents.In case of bad weather and if shopping is one of your alternatives to visiting museums,why not take the tube to Westfields shopping centre.Be aware that it will probably be an expensive alternative as museums are often free but temptations in the shops will be more costly........Thank you Stephen for al the information provided.

"Nestled between perfect and bliss!"

After a long day of flying with recirculated air, peanuts and small TV screens you want to walk into a place that hugs you and lets you know it is well worth it. Here it is! The moment we walked in it felt like home. This was our first trip to London and we picked the right place to stay. Close to the Tower Bridge, grocery store and restaurants. The internet was fast and the location was quiet with the double windows. Right across the street is a gas station mini grocery store that had the stuff we forgot. The security was great with a double locked door to the building, then a double lock door to the apartment. The elevator made it super easy to get to. We were able to wash our clothes so we could pack light. The stove, frig and microwave made it convenient to cook our own meals. Here was an added bonus, they had plenty of power adapters for our American electronics. I cannot say enough good things about this location. I highly recommend this location. There were only two of us but it could have easily handled our two kids, had we brought them. The owner had plenty of instructions on appliances so there was no confusion.

"A fantastic long term accommodation option"

I rented this apartment for 7 weeks over the Nov - Jan 2011-12 winter period. It worked really well. The apartment was warm, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The landlord right from my initial inquiry some 5 months before was extremely pleasant, accommodating and helpful. It's a 'little' (about 10 - 12 minutes) walk from Tower Hill Tube but the walk can take you through the beautiful St Katherine's Dock area; and it was an absolute treat every day walking past the Tower with Tower Bridge in the background. Add to that proximity to Shad Thames, Southbank and London Bridge, as well as easy access to the District and Circle lines, and its appeal as a long term option is obvious. Nearby there is a Fitness First and a Waitrose for staying fit and dining in respectively. WiFi access was very reliable. Having separate living and sleeping areas plus a spacious kitchen (for what one would pay for a studio on the west side) was well worth being flexible about location, even though most of my journeys were to central and inner western London. Thanks, Steve!!
