About the home

Elegant and spacious Central London luxury apartment with contemporary furnishings, located in a classic stucco building, ideally located close to Hyde Park and Notting Hill. Built in 1842 and retaining many period features including working fireplace and stucco plasterwork, it was recently completely refurbished with modern amenities.

The apartment has a beautiful sitting room with stucco ceiling, working fireplace, bean bag and sofas comfortably sitting 7, and large flat screen SKY TV with surround sound, radio, CD, DVD and iplayer. We provide a telephone and free wifi. The flat has three double bedrooms, a wonderful and light double living area with high ceilings, two bathrooms and a private garden. Ideal for a group of friends or family visiting London.

There are guide books, novels, children books, toys, CDs and DVDs in the flat for your use.

We provide our own information book full of local tips on restaurants, take-away, child friendly places, markets, cinemas etc (we can send you a copy in advance of your stay if you wish).

The dining room sits 6 (7 with high chair) and has balcony and steps leading to garden.

The kitchen is bright, modern and functional. Fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher etc

The green spaces of Hyde Park are a 3 minute walk away as are world class shops, cafes, restaurants and tube stations - Zone 1.

10 minutes walk to Notting Hill and the boutiques and cafes of Westbourne Grove. Kensington Palace, the Princess Diana memorial and playground, the Serpentine Gallery, Portabello market and the Victoria & Albert Museum are just a few of the attractions within walking distance.

We have a private garden with table and chairs reached by stairs leading down from dining room. An oasis in the centre of the city.

One of the great cities of the world with something for everyone. Wonderful museums. art galleries, theatres, shops all easily accessible from the flat.

Buckingham Palace is the other side of Hyde Park and Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, the London Eye and the Tower of London are all within easy reach by tube. If you want a day trip out of town, Oxford is an hour away by train.

The Central London/Zone 1 area

The flat is in central London with the tube only a three three minute walk away. All the main tourist attractions are easy to visit by foot, public transport or taxi.

Within a 10 minute walk we have some of the best known London restaurants and pubs. We also have the park and a wonderful swimming pool within a 5 minute walk. For shopping, Portobello market for antiques, bric a brac and food, Westbourne Grove for posh boutiques and Marks and Spencer and Tescos 3 minutes away.

An area vibrant for adults and kids.
