The apartment is a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross with its 6 underground lines and overland train lines to northern England (direct links to Cambridge) St Pancras International is also 10 minutes walk with the new Eurostar train direct to Paris & Europe and overland UK train lines. It is also a 5 minute walk from Angel underground station and the shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs of Upper Street. Also nearby are the theatres Sadlers Wells, Almeida and Kings Head pub. Buses nearby leave for Oxford Street, British Museum, Hyde Park and Piccadilly Circus every few minutes.

I stayed in this flat with my daughter for 6 days in January 2011. It was an easy walk to Angel station which is only one stop from Kings Cross/St Pancras, which has lots of tube lines, so its a good location for getting around London, and also getting to and from Heathrow. There are good food stores nearby including a huge Sainsburys, a cinema and good boutique clothes shopping on Upper St and antiques and vintage stores in Camden Passage. Altogether a great location. It was quiet, which is a big bonus in London, and the beds were comfortable. There are steps down to the apartment entrance, and several flights of steps to the flat so I would not recommend this to anyone with mobility problems, but otherwise it would suit couples or families for any kind of london visit. We felt very welcome with champagne, a card, and another important touch was supplies of coffee, teabags and basics like washing powder - which makes it easy and pleasant to arrive and not have to trek out immediately for a shopping expedition. Another sign of a well managed property was there was a problem with the washing machine which was fixed as quickly as possible. The only minor issues would be lack of storage space for clothing in the main bedroom.

We would rate our experience as Excellent. The location was great- close to
the underground and many busses, but peaceful and quiet. The walk along the
canal was enjoyable and the Street Market nearby was lots of fun. The
kitchen was well equipped and helpful for cooking at home. The flat was
clean and had a nice homey feel. We would recommend this to anyone traveling
in London, especially for families. The added sofa bed in the parlor was a
nice way to maximize the living space.

london is always great...but even more if you stay in the right place.
we have enjoyed our stay in this apartment which is really well located in a quiet neighborhood in islington very close to angel tube station and wtih plenty of bus lines passing around, so transport from there is definitively not a problem.
shops are also very close and diverse, which for a self-catered flat is quite convenient.
the flat itself was tidy, clean and well-maintained and all the facilities were as we expected them to be.
but the thing we have liked the most of this experience has been the treatment we have received from the owner, always helpful and attentive with us.
Recommended for: Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children
