Maygood House is located in scenic Islington, with its traditional English houses and garden squares (this is where Tony Blair lived before becoming Prime Minister and where the new Mayor of London lives). The apartment is a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross with its 6 underground lines and overland train lines to northern England (direct links to Cambridge) St Pancras International is also 10 minutes walk with the new Eurostar train direct to Paris & Europe and overland UK train lines. It is also a 5 minute walk from Angel underground station and the shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs of Upper Street. Also nearby are the theatres Sadlers Wells, Almeida and Kings Head pub. Buses nearby leave for Oxford Street, British Museum, Hyde Park and Piccadilly Circus every few minutes.

Date Submitted: July 09, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008 london is always great...but even more if you stay in the right place. we have enjoyed our stay in this apartment which is really well located in a quiet neighborhood in islington very close to angel tube station and wtih plenty of bus lines passing around, so transport from there is definitively not a problem. shops are also very close and diverse, which for a self-catered flat is quite convenient. the flat itself was tidy, clean and well-maintained and all the facilities were as we expected them to be. but the thing we have liked the most of this experience has been the treatment we have received from the owner, always helpful and attentive with us. Recommended for: Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children
