By Tube: Go to Angel Tube Station. Walk 200 yards along Upper Street ( Towards Highbury Corner). Turn into Essex Road on right and in 50 yards turn right into St Peters Street.

By Road: From The M1 follow the A506 until you reach the A406. Then follow signs to A1. After 14 miles this changes into Upper Street. In 800 yards take a sharp left ( at Traffic lights) into Essex Road. In 50 yards turn right into St Peters Street

“Superb flat in an excellent part of London - highly recommended” We enjoyed a 10 day stay in this excellent flat. There were 3 of us (myself, partner and teenage son) and there was plenty of room. The flat is in great condition, clean and has been decorated to a high standard. The shower-room and kitchen are small but absolutely fine and there is everything needed to cook meals. Everything worked well, including internet. The outside space at the back is a real asset. The flat is very well situated, a short walk from Upper Street with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets to choose from. Equally a short walk from canals, local art galleries and a range of excellent travel links into central London. It is very easy to get around. It was extremely good value for money, especially for London, and much cheaper and better than staying in a hotel. The owners were helpful and efficient. We know London well and visit regularly; this is now one of our top places to stay and we would definitely return.

“Excellent base for London stay” We travel to London from Sydney about every year for the theatre. Islington was a great find for us, with a lively bustle on the streets, plenty of shopping, excellent restaurants, theatre pubs, and almost no tourists. The apartment is modern, small, but excellently presented with all the facilities you need for a comfortable and well supported visit. We had only one concern and Karen and Edward addressed it immediately we raised it with them. The facilities are well maintained with a very high level of provision, including excellent free wifi, washing machine and dryer, a fully functioning kitchen, etc. We stayed for nine nights and found it an excellent base. We will return in about 18 months. Although the Angel tube is only a short walk away, we found the buses from Islington Green (a little closer) served us admirably, as they went to the West End, Waterloo (good for the National Theatre and the Old Vic), and Sloane Square (for Chelsea and the Royal Court Theatre). We could not wish for a more pleasant spot to stay.
