Guestbook for Apartment Covent Garden
Marta and Angel, Madrid, Spain Review Submitted: August 22, 2008, Date of stay: July, 2008
We have stayed at this apartment for more than three weeks with our 3 aged child. The experience was really good. The location of the apartment is perfect. From here you can walk almost all the city around, go to marvellous restaurants and theatres and buy precious books. The apartment is really comfortable and makes you feel at home, is perfectly new and clean, and no noisy at all, despite being at the very heart of the city. The owners are very helpful and kind.
Owner's response:
Come and let us keep up the 'good work' ! We love our apartment and it will be our pleasure to welcome you to London! Mattie and Mark.
Toronto1 Toronto, Canada. Date Submitted: August 11, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008 Great central location for galleries, shopping, dining and theatre. Easy walking distance to west-end theatres and well as across the Thames to Southwalk (National & Tate Modern). Bright, sunny, clean and newly renovated. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Some start-up problems with the phone but the response & fix from the owner's rep was excellent.
Highly recommended Recommended for: Sightseeing, Tourists without a Car, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway Owners Response: Another great review which makes all our efforts so worthwhile! Please come and be another happy guest!
All the best,
Mattie and Mark
business-traveler Seattle, WA. Date Submitted: June 25, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008 Fabulous alternative to a hotel for my latest business trip to London! Flat owners (Mark and Mattie) are a pleasure to work with and a wonderful resource for things around the area. Thanks to Mark for some great restaurant recommendations in walking distance! And the private roof-top terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a snack or glass of wine in the heart of the city during the beautiful summer months!
The property was spotless and in a great location. All essentials were provided, along with many extras throughout the flat. Attention to detail is what made this flat stand apart from previous rentals I have had. Many many thanks to Mark and Mattie for their friendliness, helpfulness, and most of all their flexibility.
A truly wonderful experience, and a lovely flat. Re
An oasis of calm in the middle of London mayhem! Sydneysider Sydney, Australia Review Submitted: July 3, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009 I stayed here for almost 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Smack bang in the middle of all the action but close the door, walk up the (many) stairs to the flat and it couldn't be more different - quiet, calm and comfortable. The terrace is fantastic and very private. The design is top notch and you just won't want to get out of the bed.
The owners were always on hand for advice and made me very welcome. Everything I could have needed was there.
A great place to stay and I'll definitely be back.
Rating 5 out of 5 The Best!!! bgklinker buffalo grove, il Review Submitted: August 17, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009 My husband and two children, my daughter, age 13 and my son, age 10, traveled to London and stayed for 5 nights in this most unique and incredible flat. The location was perfect, located about 2 blocks from the Covent Garden tube station, it was right in the middle of everything. Mattie and Francesca were there to greet us and couldn't be nicer or more accomodating. The unit was clean and was very efficient. It was perfect for the 4 of us. The best part about it was the rooftop terrace. I would absolutley recommend this unit to anyone wanting a great location when they are traveling to London. If I ever return I would love to stay there again!! Thanks Mattie and Francesca for helping make our vacation so unforgettable!! Owner's Response: How great to have happy guests who want to come back! Looking forward to have more of you very soon! Mattie and Francesca
