South Kensington is one of the most desirable and expensive areas in London, in which to buy a property, due to the location, beauty and amenities available. It is a chic village-like neighbourhood, buildings date back to the mid 1800s. It is also one of the safest areas in London in which one can easily walk around and feel totally safe. Gloucester Road boasts many wonderful shops and restaurants on the door step.
The Victoria and Albert Museum is within a ten minute walk, as is the beautiful Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. The famous Royal Albert Hall is a 5 minute stroll from the Lux Pod. You can walk around the back streets and discover stunning garden squares and beautiful mews houses to photograph. There are also many specialist art galleries. You can also shop until you drop, as Kensington High Street is a few minutes away, or you can walk to Harrods or Harvey Nichols or along Kings Road. You are spoilt for choice! Everyone who has stayed at the property so far has said the location could not be better.
How to get there
South Kensington is in the heart of central London and is very accessible. If you arrive at Heathrow, you can catch the tube (Picadilly Line) to Gloucester Road Tube station. If you arrive at Luton or Stansted Airports you catch the National Express bus (www.nationalexpress.com) to Victoria station. From there you can catch the tube a few stops to Gloucester Road, or pay £10 for a black cab ride, or walk for 25 minutes to the property. If you arrive from other locations it is very easy to catch the tube to the property or take a short taxi ride.

Further details indoors: The property is a luxury Studio private holiday apartment. The bed is on a bed deck accessed via a ladder. The Lux Pod has a leather floor and many delicate items. We would be most grateful if you can use the items correctly whilst staying in the property. The property has taken two years to build and has been a labour of love and we wish to keep it in pristine condition for people to enjoy. The floor in the wetroom is heated and the mirror is also heated. The double bed is accessed via a ladder and we do not recommend you staying if you are concerned about heights. The bed platform is 135cm wide and is 2 metres high. The ceilings at the property are 3.5 metres high. The lights are controlled via a Lutron Grafik Eye system which can be managed with the remote control to change light moods and for the shade to glide up and down silently. There are many cool features in the property including colour changing LED lights under the Boffi kitchen and a stunning leather Bonaldo Dragon fly chair which opens out in to a chaise longue.
Further details outdoors: The property is in a period building on the first floor. It is entered via a private locked door to the building and the door to the apartment is impenetrable, make sure you have your key with you at all times, as it cannot be opened without a key.

COMPLIMENTARY ITEMS: Rates include a complimentary welcome pack of fresh oranges, tea, coffee for the espresso machine and Time Out magazine. A gift voucher of £20 is also included to be redeemed from your dinner bill at the nearby wonderfully eccentric Ollins restaurant. For singles enjoy the uber cool Mia Rigo cafe with a £10 voucher from a meal.
DURING YOUR STAY: Luxurious bath robes, Corrymoor mohair socks, shampoo, toothpaste, dental floss, soap, facial wipes and tissues provided. Organic and paraben free where possible.
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE:The "Honesty Bar" fridge contains a selection of wine, water and beer for you to enjoy. The property is steam cleaned minimum of once a week, towels are changed over as well at no extra charge for you! WI-FI is free also. We support re-cycling.

A refundable breakages deposit of £300 is payable.
