The location will blow your mind. If you want to see the best of London, you want to be in the middle of Bankside - on Millennium Mile.

This Flat is IT!

Right next to the Tate Modern, right by the river, every single amenity you want. It's an awesome, beautifully done-up, compact little flat, with wifi, dishwasher and amenities, but you probably won't spend a waking hour there.

On your doorstep you can walk to:

Tate Modern - 1 minute

River Thames - 2 minutes

Globe Theatre - 2 minutes

Millennium Bridge - 3 minutes

St Paul's Cathedral - 10 minutes

Borough Market - 7 minutes

As you can see from the pictures, it's a modern, beautiful 1-bed apartment on the first floor of an old fire-station, 1 minute walk from the Tate Modern. In the midst of all the arts and culture of the Southbank. You will not find anywhere closer to the middle of the Culture Mile than this flat!

But what does it have in it?

Double bed, bath, shower, washing machine, dryer, oven, hobs, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. Secure entry. Wood flooring, stone bathroom. Large Fitted Wardrobe in bedroom. Entry phone.

I will warn you that this flat is for those who like being in the middle of things - this isn't a quiet country lane, this is London with all its bright lights and glory.

Please note there is no allocated parking on Southwark St but there are lots of single yellow line places to park around the flat and free parking on weekends. I can get you daytime on-street parking on the street for £5 a day on weekdays.

TRAVEL

An Oyster card saves money on single journeys and has a price cap but a day travel card will be best as you're not staying long. Here is a link to the website that has all the info.

I think the ticket from heathrow should be bought separately as it is not zone 1 or 2.

Below are 4 options for travelling from Heathrow to the flat. All take around 1 hour but vary in price.

At Green Park Underground Station

Take the Jubilee line towards Stratford Underground Station.

The Piccadilly Line Tube from Heathrow is a good idea.

I would stay on the Tube until Holborn and then come up to the surface and hail a taxi in the Street.

"PERFECT LOCATION, Lovely Appartment right by the Tate Modern"

I didnt expect this place to be so well located and so cute. I had a training course near elephant and castle and walked it in under 10 and waterloo in about 4 minutes. Lovely apartment, modern with a very cool bathroom, double glazed so you don't hear much and some really nice restaurants nearby. Highly recommend and great value. I shall be back for my next course, no doubt!

Thanks - it was great to have you as a guest and glad you had a good stay!
