With its amazing CENTRAL London location (SW1V2ND - Google it!), a 2-minute WALK to Pimlico Tube, 10 mins WALK to Buckingham Palace and the London Marathon finishing line, 20 mins WALK to Westminster Abbey and Big Ben, the London Eye & the QE2 Conference Centre, this quiet house is brilliantly situated for the major tourist attractions - yet with great transport links to the Olympic Park. Suitable for short lets, holiday rentals, business accommodation and family gatherings, this wonderful self-catering family accommodation in the white-stucco-Cubitt-designed Victorian 'village' of Pimlico (London Borough of Westminster) was built in 1846. With architectural features beautifully preserved, the flexible accommodation is spread over four floors: 6 bedrooms (REALLY comfortable beds), 3 sitting rooms, 2 kitchens, study with Wifi Broadband, 4 bath/shower/WCs, balcony, terrace, patio garden and private access to a nearby gated garden square with tennis courts. There are 4 x single beds, 1 x double bed, 2 x Queen beds plus 2 x fold-out sofa bed-chairs. There are ornate ceilings and period chandeliers in all the main rooms, as well as every modern convenience: washing machines, microwaves, dishwasher, hair-dryers, 3 x TVs (SKY), radio/sound systems, linen/towels, books, toys, DVDs and baby stuff - and great showers.

This was once our home and we raised our children here: over a period of 20 years we developed it to the highest comfort and specification, and we've left it brilliantly well fitted so it's a real home-from-home. There's loads of space and children love playing up and down the stairs and in the study, which has windows on all sides. The house is full of fascinating nooks and crannies and is very well equipped, with washing machines and microwaves, hairdryers, DVDs and dishwashers, radios and sound systems, Internet Broadband and Sky TV (with all sports channels), iron/ironing board, linen and towels. The showers are powerful, the carpets, curtains, beds etc. of very good quality and we supply books and toys and DVDs, as well as a cot, high chair, baby listening etc..

London: financial centre, cultural centre, tourist centre will host the Olympics in 2012 - more world heritage sites than any other city. Weather variable - but who cares!?! There's so much to see and do that you couldn't fit it all into a year if you went somewhere new every day . . .
