On the Lower Level is:

An entrance hall; kitchen that is modern and fully-equipped (an american travel writer reviewed them as the most equipped he has ever come across!); living room with dining area and balcony overlooking the west-end.

Enclosed staircase with handrail and 12 steps (elderly & infirm please note!) to the upper level: 2 double bedrooms, the bedrooms are the same size - one faces east and the other faces west and both contain mirrored wardrobes, desk areas and bedside cabinets + storage drawers.

The beds are set up as 1 superking (uk 6ft wide x 6ft6' long) in one room and 2 singles (uk 3ft wide x 6ft 6' long) in the other. The owners supply the best quality dunlopillo super luxury pillows for the best support and comfort, plus hairdryers and laundry bags for guests convenience.

Main bathroom (bath with shower over, wash basin with large mirrored wall over, shaver point and wc).

Separate Cloakroom (wash basin, mirror, shaver point and wc). Soaps, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bath foam and toilet rolls are included to welcome all guests checking in. Towels, bathmats + hairdryers are also supplied.

"Just Ok..."

Thanks for the compliment about my management - I do try very hard to keep up with the maintenance of our properties. This is a private apartment in a residential block, so there are times when other residents do make a mess, and we have no control over this. There were many flats sold last year which resulted in a number of refurbishments, where new owners gutted their flats, causing dust and dirt in the communal areas and entranceways. Believe me, I was as frustrated as anyone - as you cannot predict or prevent their right to do this. Certainly no one has described them as filthy before or since, and when the caretaker is off at weekends, it will not be until the following Monday when the cleaning of common parts are completed. London is a real multitude of cultures, races and all types of people, and I know the bar you are talking about - but we are in the heart of London's entertainment and tourist attraction district including Chinatown and Soho and theatregoers and there's nothing to be scared of. We are used to it, but I totally understand the "culture shock" to quiet people, who live in quite different areas in the USA/Canada/Austalia etc.
