Our Palace Penthouse is blessed with an address that will have heads turning in awe and disbelief. Perched on the entrance of The Mall, stay here and you're within reach of royalty. Guests at this apartment are neighbours with the Queen herself, but one needn't worry about keeping up appearances, as the strikingly beautiful property is fit to impress even the most distinguished of company. Spread over two floors, this apartment is finished to a superb standard with gleaming white walls, chic contemporary furniture and quirky flourishes, all of which you'd expect from an Uber London Apartment. The Palace Penthouse enjoys a rare triple aspect, affording our guests several classical porthole views right out of the early 19th century. With Lord Nelson presiding atop his 171-foot column and the majestic bronze lions by his side keeping watch at the adjoining Trafalgar Square, it's a challenge not to succumb to the location's valiant naval atmosphere.

Celebration Square

The famous Trafalgar square is right on your doorstep and is an absolute must-see for Londoners and visitors alike. Built to commemorate the spectacular victory of the British naval fleet against the French and Spanish in the Battle of Trafalgar during the Napoleonic Wars, this open square has an insuppressible jubilance no doubt a remnant from the first celebrations that took place here centuries ago. Take a picture with a giant lion, angle to get a good shot of Lord Nelson and take in the sculpted works of art in each corner, all whilst enjoying a 360-degree view encompassing everything from Big Ben to St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church. This view is said time and time again to be among the most definitive of London.

The Royal next-door

Of course, as a guest at the Palace Penthouse, it's only polite to introduce yourself to your neighbours. The Mall is the grand parade that takes you right from your from door to that of Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of the British Monarch. More than a stately palace, Buckingham Palace is the centre of attention during times that have shaped British and international history. Stand beneath the golden wings of the Victoria Memorial and feel the site resonate with history. Close your eyes and you can almost hear the crowds cheering for the young Royal newlyweds. If you're very fortunate, the Queen may even invite you inside and show you her photo albums.

Line of succession

A walk in the other direction will have on Whitehall. Drop in on the Prime Minister at Downing Street and try your luck at getting a palace guard to smile, all en route to Parliament Square, site of the Houses of Parliament. A testament to the awe-inspiring beauty of neo gothic architecture, the Houses of Parliament, also referred to as the Palace of Westminster, is workplace of the Prime Minister and Members of Parliament who often find themselves ensconced in heated debate about the policies that shape British life. For fans of the infamous British wit, these can be seen on national broadcasts and are entertaining as well as edifying. Adjoining the Houses of Parliament is the world's most famous clock tower. Though actually only the name of the tremendous bell inside, tourists and Londoners alike have come to know the entire tower as Big Ben. It's thunderous dong sounds every hour on the hour, keeping the pulsating city beneath on time, apart from a famous incident in 1949 when a flock of starlings landed on one of the clock's minute hands, setting it back five minutes. Should you need a backup time piece, across Parliament Square lies the breath-taking Westminster Abbey, on which an old sundial remains. Westminster Abbey has been the site of every coronation in Britain since 1066 and state occasions from Princess Dianna's funeral to the appropriately honorific wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Return to the Palace Penthouse early one night to see the evening sunlight flood in through your porthole windows and unwind. In the morning, be ready to set sail for another adventure. Minutes from your door are:

-Covent Garden

-The River Thames

-St. James' Park

-Oxford Street

-The National Gallery

-Trafalgar Square

-Piccadilly Circus, and much more.

And of course, catch a tube from Charing Cross Underground station, two minutes from the penthouse gates, and explore further.
