Unlike other studio apartments in London, this studio has fully equipped kitchen facilities with dishwasher, oven, washing machine and dryer. Bathroom with shower facility over bathtub. Comfortable double bed, sofa with coffee table; It has wooden floor throughout; TV with complimentary Wi-Fi. It feels like a home away from home. All utility bills and tax are included, linen and towels are provided. There is no lift in the building. For the 3rd person, it is added mattress on the floor.

It suitable for either business travelers or London visitors who stay for short term or long term. Simple check in and check out procedure with friendly staff, it will provide you with comfort and pleasure to stay with us again and again.

Those sites can be reached easily by London Underground and close to our apartments there are 4 tube stations including Paddington railway station!

"Good location and comfortable studio"

Check in procedure was a bit confused as staff had changed but overall agents were helpful. Great spot to stay with pub and cafés and supermarket close by and easy walk to tube and Hyde park. Security block so good for solo traveller. Bed was fine for one person as other side was flush against wall but having a sofa as well as the bed was a plus. Large bathroom so could hang up some washing easily which is great is have been travelling for a while

"good weather"

We had to go to William James letting agencies to get the key and pay. The receipt did not show any letterhead nor letting agency or name, which we thought was a little strange. We were shown to the studio apartment by someone from William James Letting Agencies and we received the key. When we were shown the studio we said directly that it did not match our expectations as the room we received was much smaller than the photo's shown on the internet and we were quite taken by this not so nice surprise.
The person who had given us the key said that she was not in a position to help us but that she would look into the matter. After the person from the agency left we made a cup of tea. There was old tea with tea bag left in the kettle and there was only one mug. We discovered that there were plates chipped and not enough cups nor glasses. We left the apartment to explore the area. In the afternoon the person from the Letting office phoned telling us that we could get a £10 reduction a day for the 3 days we had booked the apartment. We agreed to accept this offer. We told her about the missing mugs and glasses and she told us that a porter would come into the studio to settle these matters.
In the evening we discovered that we could not heat the pizza we had bought, as we could not make the oven work and the microwave turning table did not turn around. One of the two kitchen chairs had a broken leg and it was not possible to sit at the kitchen table.
We made a long list of 15 items:
1. broken light in kitchen ceiling
2. above the hob a broken light
3. microwave turn table not turning
4. kitchen chair broken leg
5. chipped plates and dishes
6. only one glass
7. only one mug (cracked)
8. no instructions to work the oven nor TV
9. light in bathroom broken (only 50% light in bathroom)
10. shower head blocked by layers of deposit.
11. basin in bathroom nearly blocked
12. shabby coffee table with a big hole and chipped
13. sash window broken cord
14. window blind not working
15. directly outside our room door was a alarm beeping every 3 seconds the first night.

Some things on this long list were dealt with by the porter the second day. The chipped bowl was removed but not replaced and the broken kitchen chair was never mended.
Our stay in the studio, well it could have been a lot better, the studio, the service we received and the compensation. Which was the already agreed 3x £10 for the room not being as on the website. The long list of items not being OK did not change their attitude, nor willingness to deal with us.We had hoped for a better understanding and even a more generous compensation, but the William James Rental Office did not want to deal with us and referred us back to the people of the website= holiday rental.
No, we would not go back to this apartment and we certainly would not recommend it to our friends. Poor service. Poor studio apartment.

Thank you very much for stating that my colleagues from WJ were attending the issues raised by you the very next day and did the best to rectify them. I understand a £10 per night refund is not enough to compensation for all the inconvenience it may caused you. But we have done all we can.

The location and the price offered resulted very high booking volumes, sometimes, problems do happen, we are trying our best to offer each customer the best we possibly can.
