We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests for their support in helping us win this year's Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence!

Big Ben, Tower Bridge, the Natural History Museum – all are visual icons of London, built by Victorians whose aspirations knew no boundaries - but those are not for rent. With them sits St Pancras Chambers, a gothic fantasy of bricks and spires.

The building, designated as a national historic landmark (Grade 1 listed) incorporates the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel (5 star Marriott), St Pancras Chambers (private apartments such as this) and Kings Cross St Pancras underground and train station below - the most interconnected train hub in London (6 tube lines inc direct access to Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports plus direct trains to Edinburgh, Paris and Brussels!)

LOCATION:

On the edge of fashionable Bloomsbury and well connected by underground, it is the perfect hub from which to explore London's sights. Restaurants, pubs and shops can be found in abundance both in the building and adjacent hotel as well as the general vicinity.

The perfect base to explore all that London has to offer.

THE APARTMENT:

This apartment is on the top two floors of St Pancras Chambers. Residents also have access to hotel facilities at additional cost (inc Spa, Pool and Gym)

The apartment is over the 4th and 5th floors of the building. There are two guest double bedrooms on the 4th floor (one ensuite) and third mezzanine room above the living room which is typically used as a third bedroom (it has 2 foldout single sofa beds which can be put side by side for a double). If not needed as a third bedroom, the mezzanine has also in the past been used as a reading room or as a kids play area (we have plenty of board games and puzzles).

We have 2 further foldout mattresses and one travel cot available on request. These can be placed in either bedroom.

The 5th floor area is an open plan Kitchen/Living Room.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in is typically any time after 4pm and Check-out strictly by 10am. I will certainly try to be flexible and it depends very much on how tight the turnaround is between your booking and the ones before and after. If your needs require an early check-in for example, I have often accommodated the needs of the tenants where possible but this must be by prior arrangement so please email me about your needs and I will try my best to accommodate.

Please remember, this is not a business. We are welcoming you into our own home. While we use it ourselves most of the time, we make it available on occasion when we are away. Please treat it as you would your own.

We have had some wonderful people stay here since we started making our apartment available and we would like to keep up that record. When you contact us, please tell us something about yourself, and your plans in London. Empty booking requests will be ignored.

Please note that I can also accept a 2 night booking for an additional 12.5% fee above the nightly rate for a 3 night booking.

"The Perfect London Apartment to Complement our London Experiences!"

Imagine taking in the wonderful experiences offered by London each day and then returning to your castle home with all the comforts you could possibly want. Staying at Yaz's apartment at St. Pancras Chambers was among the best decisions we made when planning our 8 day holiday in London. Our group included 3 generations, 6 of us ranging in age from 11 to 69. Our host made us feel most welcome upon our arrival with fresh fruit, bread, milk, cereal, coffee, tea and more. Oyster cards and plenty of guide books were most helpful. Shops, restaurants, cafes, M&S market, are all within the building; a great advantage, along with the transportation right there. The entire rental process was made easy for us by Yaz with his kind and prompt attention to our every need. The St. Pancras building is stunning and we loved the smart design of Yaz's apartment. Don't miss the opportunity to stay in the place which all those walking by stop to admire.

"Perfect Apartment in Fantastic Location"

My family and I had a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment situated in a beautiful listed Victorian building. The apartment inside is ultra modern, spacious and airy, and the owners have considered and provided everything to ensure all needs are catered for making for a hassle free stay! The kids loved thefree WIFI and coffee/drinks machine, and the provision of bread milk and fruit on our arrival was a great touch too.

We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to London, and would have no hesitation in recommending this rental to otherd.

"History+Location+Convenience+Beauty+Security=Perfection!"

If you are interested in all the qualities noted in the review title, you will love renting this apartment. The beauty of this historical landmark building in a wonderfully convenient location cannot be appreciated enough. Access to Heathrow and Eurostar downstairs (!) and all of the tube and bus lines right there...drop your suitcase in a beautiful, efficient apartment and start enjoying your stay immediately. No traipsing about dragging one's suitcase behind!

The apartment is wonderfully and thoughtfully appointed with everything a traveler might need: oyster cards, clear directions regarding the use of the apartment and appliances, guidebooks to any site one might be interested in, and nearby assistance if one should need it, it's all there.

Security is often a consideration when one travels abroad. At 5.21 St. Pancras, it is not a concern. How many apartments come with 24/7 porters upon whom one can rely to be courteous and helpful? Philippe and Stewart are so pleasant, they make you feel welcome and at ease, giving a "hometown" face to an unfamiliar locale.

No need to look any further, you've found perfection in London.

"Family vacation extrodinaire!"

Our family of 6 adults absolutely enjoyed everything the apartment had to offer! The apartment is exactly as Yaz has it displayed, so no surprises there (other than a much appreciated welcome basket of fruits). The 5.2.1 is spacious and comfortable and who wouldn't love the architecture, what an amazing building seeped in history. Thanks Yaz for all the informative history books about the building, thoroughly enjoyed reading them! Realtors always talk location, location, location.........well St Pancras Chambers sure has it! Easy with a capitol E to get to and from Heathrow and just a walk downstairs to hop on the tube or catch the Eurostar. Yaz was a pleasure to deal with online and the Chambers front desk staff are all friendly and helpful (with good senses of humour too!) I am looking forward to a return trip to London and definitely a return stay at The Chambers.

"Perfect property for the surprised bride-to-be"

After a few failed attempts at securing property for our bridal party my friend came across this property. From the photographs the apartment looked beautiful, and fitted in very well with our feel we finally hoped this was the one!

We applied but unfortunately we were rejected. The owner did kindly explain his decision (unlike other places which ignored our emails) for the rejection - due to previous bad experiences with hen parties and this being their personal residence in London.

Thankfully after explaining our itinerary the owner changed his mind and we finally had accommodation. We were elated when we got the news, trouble was we couldn't tell our friend - the bridal party was a secret!

I did have to chase up our arrival instructions, but we still received them one week prior to arrival and they were very clear and concise.

The apartment was very clean and well kept. The furniture was well placed and chosen to allow for maximum storage and still maintaining a more minimal feel. There was an information pack at the door from the family, and oyster cards were supplied along with other information - a very nice touch.

The apartment exterior and conceirge area were stunning, walking up to the building with the bride to be (who only found out that she was going to London the night prior) was one of my favourite parts of the weekend, she was stunned. She could not believe we were staying there, she was blown over.

My friend and I were very thankful for the faith the owner intrusted to us to return his home the way we received it. We hope we have restored his faith in bridal parties!

"Perfect in every way"

Great space. The owners thought of everything for our comfort. Breakfast food. Huge basket of fresh fruit on arrival. Apartment is very clean and modern and beautifully appointed. Many extras. Lots of towels. Fresh clean linens. Spacious bedrooms. Great loft area that converts to extra sleeping space. Two full bathrooms. Oyster cards for the tube. Guide books. We had a great time and the St. Pancras chambers building is extraordinarily beautiful. It was lovely to read a bit of the history of the building and the train station. Would definitely stay again. The tube is 15 minutes from many of London's popular attractions

"Luxurious living in London's finest structure"

If your first reaction on seeing the exterior of the St Pancras apartments isn't 'wow!' then you probably weren't that impressed with the Pyramids or the Taj Mahal either. The outside of Apartment 5.21 is the highest pinnacle of Victorian gothic revival artistry and architecture (think Palace of Westminster and Big Ben, but better) ; our taxi driver rated it as London's finest structure, and who are we to quibble with that description?

Inside it's a fabulous blend of stylish modern living (superb bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms, spacious open plan dining and living room, mod-con kitchen) and historic character (wooden beams, engraved brass door handle surrounds, a third bedroom cleverly tucked into a mezzanine floor in the vaulted ceiling space). Fluffy towels, lovely linens and lots of nice touches, such as the fully stocked coffee maker and the guest Oyster travel cards, really do make this a delightful and easy place to stay.

The St Pancras complex includes - for your convenience - a fine hotel (we would recommend having afternoon tea in the Hansom Lounge), a handy Underground station and the astonishingly grand London terminus for the Eurostar international train service, complete with a fine selection of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Add to that the practicality of being right in the middle of town, the security of a 24 hour concierge service, and a view of the London Eye, you really do have a fabulous pied a terre.

"Superb Accommodations in Ultra-Convenient Location"

Fantastic location! Steps away from the Tube and national and international rail! Beautiful and well-furnished apartment. All the amenities of home. 24-hour controlled access with friendly staff. This will be our only choice for future visits to London!
