The London region
London is is simply the greatest city on the planet. It has something for everyone—man, woman, child, as well as all ethnicities, orientations, and tastes. As a world city it stands out from the rest because of its cultural diversity.
Most world cities have an incredible energy, and some impress more than others in one or two areas, but no other global city is capable of matching London on all levels.
While the people make the city, the climate and the architecture make the people. London has a temperate climate, rarely very hot, rarely very cold, enough rain to keep the plants fresh and green, enough sun to enjoy beautiful days throughout the year. The people therefore are temperate as well–stylish and successful, unassuming and yet confident. Creativity flourishes—the East End has the largest concentration of artists anywhere in Europe, and world-wide fashion trends often begin on London's streets. West End theatre, world-class ballet and opera and all the major movie premiers are found in London.
Many museums and galleries in London are of international importance. The Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum, the British Library, the National Gallery, the Tate Britain and the Tate Modern to name the giants.
Once a city with a terrible reputation for it's food, London now has over 34 Michelin starred restaurants, and offers fantastic restaurants from many ethnicities.
The shopping is varied and plentiful—vast department stores, delightful boutiques, traditional suppliers of all things British, and flagships of many famous brands and labels. Beyond the shops are the famous London markets all across the metropolis, held both weekly and seasonally.
Central London/Zone 1
LONDON BRIDGE QUARTER IS LOCATED AT THE HEART OF A VIBRANT AND ECLECTIC AREA.
Positioned in the heart of London, London Bridge Quarter sits centrally between the West End, Westminster, the South Bank, the City and Canary Wharf. The many amenities to be found in this socially and culturally rich part of town make London Bridge Quarter highly desirable as a business destination.
Some of the most renowned amenities include the premium restaurants, retail and hotel, and The View from The Shard at London Bridge Quarter, the world-famous Borough Market, the plethora of galleries, museums, restaurants and bars of Bermondsey Street, Hay's Galleria, restaurants at More London, HMS Belfast, as well as the Tate, Shakespeare's Globe, Tower Bridge and The Tower of London.
The Thames Path takes you past some of London's most acclaimed cultural destinations including, Tate Modern, the Southbank Centre and on to Waterloo. Walking to the centre of London's Square Mile and City core is also just a few minutes away via London Bridge.

"Excellent modern apartment, excellent location"
We booked this apartment through tripadvisor which was hassle free. Any queries we had were answered by the owner straight away. The apartment is only a few hundred meters from Borough tube station or an easy walk from London Bridge. The apartment was spotless and modern. 2 good double bedrooms, nice bathroom, large living room / kitchen. Kitchen well equipped if needed. Nice view of the Shard! Good WiFi. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

"Superb location, superb apartment!"
This was a great apartment and is kept wonderfully clean. It has a great view of the Shard from the spacious open plan lounge and has two good sized bedrooms with modern furniture and built in wardrobes. It is exactly as the photos show and it is at the end of the corridor so you hear no foot traffic in the hall.
Also the guys who own this flat give anyone staying there all the local info so you know where everything is.
The only down side is the noise but that's London life.
We will be going back for sure!

"Clean, spacious apartment convenient to many London areas!"
This apartment was very nice, clean, and very close to the Borough stop for the tube. It was well-stocked and everything worked well. The set up was very well thought out - very much like a hotel! The people operating this were kind, understanding, and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Die Wohung ist geeignet fuer den Londonbesuch mit Freunden oder auch der Familie. Wir koennen sie definitiv nur weiterempfehlen!
