South Kensington can also offer a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city with access to its green areas and parks, the beautiful Hyde Park, Green Park and Buckingham Palace Gardens are all in the vicinity and Battersea Park is just the other side of the river with boating, café and beautiful walks.

Shopping can be found at Harrods, Selfridges, Fortnum and Mason and the charming shops of Jermyn Street with Sheppard’s Market and its quaint restaurants and bars close by. Also at your disposal are the many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars of the fashionable Kings Road and Portobello market in Notting Hill.
