Immaculate 1 bedroom apartment redecorated March 2011. Entrance from Piccadilly into the common hallway leading to the rear of the building. Entrance into the apt hallway with desk with telephone and wifi, and large wardrobe/closet . Double bedroom and sitting /dining room (with sofa,chairs,small table ) both with windows to the rear interior "well" garden , which is not overlooked or accessible . Small kitchen including washer/drier. Ceiling fans in main rooms if needed.
Bathroom with bath and shower over and WC. We have been renting out this apartment for over 10 years and it now has a loyal following of regular visitors . All the faciltiies of Mayfair and St James are on your doorstep
- the shops, cafes and restaurants, supermarkets and Shepherds street market, Tube 3minutes, buses 1minute - all this but once in your apartment you have your own private haven away from the noise and bustle of London.Celing fans in both main rooms . Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive areas with its proximity to Royal palaces, with famous hotels such as the Ritz and the Dorchester and with Hyde Park and Green Park on its borders.
The Central London/Zone 1 area
From the apartment walk west along Piccadilly to Hyde Park Corner and Knightsbridge with its well-known shops such as Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Walk accross Green Park to Buckingham Palace and the Mall, and on to Whitehall for the Changing of the Guard. Walk east to Piccadilly Circus and the Leicester Square theatre area. Or - hop on a bus outside the building .

My apartment was everything I wanted. Rooms are good size, kitchen has everything you would need to cook a full meal. Though on Picadilly, the apt. is quiet, there is a security door that make a solo woman feel safe. Very short walk to Tube station and a small grocery store. Next time I am in London, I really hope it is available. |

The flat was perfectly situated to experience London – whether you have a weekend or a month. Right on the Piccadilly line, less than a minute from the Green Park station, you can access many of the professional and tourist areas without a transfer. Buckingham Palace is immediately on the other side of the park from the front door. Other neighbors include the Ritz, Horse Guards and many unique & enjoyable restaurants/pubs. It's also a short walk from the shops at Piccadilly. The nicely appointed apartment is fully furnished with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and full bath in a flatiron style layout. The owners and management company were very helpful and made our stay very pleasurable. We would highly recommend this listing to both professional and vacation travelers. We look forward to coming back again. |
