All modern cons available including Wifi, dishwasher, washer/drier, microwave, cable TV channels, flat screen TV, home cinema DVD. There is also a parking space available within the gated area on the back of the building for those who might want to reach London by car.

The location is fantastic within the famous neighbourhood of Borough Market which gives the area its reputation as a foodie's paradise. Borough has been a lively area since prehistoric times, but it became a bustling trade centre when the Romans founded Londinium around 43 AD. Its position on the Thames and proximity to London Bridge has ensured it's remained a trading hub ever since. Generally, the best restaurants are in or very near the market but, if you know where you're looking, you can find some gems hidden away. The bars and pubs are more spread out but are worth a little walk.

Southwark or ‘the Borough’ as it is often known, is located immediately south of central London and Anchor Terrace is perfectly located between the Millennium Bridge and London Bridge, a historic building on the site of the original Globe Theatre. In a 5 minute walk across the bridge you are within the financial district of the city of London. St Paul's Cathedral is a short walk away.

Southwark is one of London’s top destinations thanks to the Tate Modern, Borough Market, the Old Vic and Shakespeare’s Globe, with an array of watering holes and restaurants to boot. The South Bank is a stone’s throw away.

The closest underground stations are: London Bridge, Southwark, Cannon Street and Mansion house, all within less than 10 minutes walk. The property is located on a main road where plenty of buses stop just outside. Taxis can be easily hailed just at the doorstep.

Gatwick airport can be reached within 29 minutes from London Bridge on First Capital Connect with only just under £ 10.

We can arrange for pick up service on a black London cab for a smoother journey to and from any London airport at a competitive price.
