Excellent transport links from either Notting Hill tube or Ladbroke Grove tube, good bus service from very nearby, as well as Boris bikes for the more energetic! Free wifi. ipod dock.

Wonderful private communal garden filled with mature trees, plants and flowers. Truly magical. As featured in the movie, "Notting Hill". The length and breadth of an entire city block, accessed directly from the back of the building. Swings and a wooden climbing frame discreetly hidden at one end of the garden. The perfect place for a sun-downer or a picnic or simply to read a book or chill out at the end of a long day in the city.

This flat is everything it is shown to be on the website and more. Main bedroom is a good size with plenty of storage, the bathroom is larger than we expected for a London flat, the living/dining room is very spacious with a wall of books and very comfortable sofas. The kitchen is small but well equipped. It was just like staying at a friend's flat, smart but comfortable. The landlady is also easy to deal with. There are three flights of stairs but you'll only have to carry your suitcases up and down once and the position provides wonderful views over the private gardens. We'll definitely stay here again and we've already recommended it to several friends. |

The flat is the prefect pied-a-terre in London for those who want to be fully immersed into Notting Hill's buoyant life. Through its design (top floor flat), elegant decoration and warm atmosphere, it is typical of cosy London living from this affluent, yet a bit bohemian, neibourghood. The flat is in perfect condition, has full amenities and immediately makes you feel at home - essentially you are in a real living flat; not in a cold hotel room. It also offers access to a typical Notting Hill communal garden which can be enjoyed on nice summer days. The owner is an incredibly nice person who was immediately able to build the right level of trust. There is no hidden issue whatsoever with this property and what you see/read is really what you get at the end of the day. For sure a place to recommend although I feel that I should selfishly keep this good address for myself ;) |
