London is one of the World's Top Captial cities.

Great Suffolk Street sits between the major roads of Blackfriars Bridge Road and Southwark Bridge Road. This area is known as the Bankside of London, Southwark. It is the perfect location for a stay in London. It is a Zone 1 location, in the centre of London. With shops and restaurants on you doorstep, you don't have far to go for a meal

Central London/Zone 1

The area has a great vibrant fell and offers a wealth of tourist attractions to choose from. There are numerous restaurants in every direction, and both buses and the underground are on your doorstep. There is no other area in Lodon that offers so much for the tourist. The Tate Modern can be reached in under 10 minutes, and from here you can walk across the Millenium Bridge straight to St Paul's Cathedral.

Visit the new shopping centre at One New Change (behind St Paul's) and enjoy a drink inthe rooftop bar, admiring the stunning views across London. The Jubliee Walkway/Thames Path passes the Tate and this will take you all the way east towards Tower of London/Tower Bridge. Head West to The London Eye, and Houses of Parliament.

The Thames Path has plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from, along with tourist attractions. Visit the Golden Hinde ship next to London Bridge and experience life on-board a Tudor warship. Also here is the Clink Prison, giving you an insight to life in a London Prison in mediaeval times. Southwark Cathedral is also in this area. This is the oldest Cathedral Church in London. Adjacent to this is vibrant , Borough Market which is a must for all tourists to London. With the London Dungeons on the other side of London Bridge, you could spend a whole day in this area and be able to pop home for lunch!

Head west along the Thames is the Imax Cinema, with the largest screen in England - An experience not to be missed. Just a few minutes from here, sitting on the embankment of the Thames, is the Southbank centre, the largest single-run arts centre in the world,offering music, art dance and literature. Here you will find a wealth of enterainment to suit every taste.

Just further along from the Southbank Centre is the London Eye, London Aquarium and Westminster Bridge. Walk over the River Thames and admire the Houses of Parliament standing infront of you. Stroll up Birdcage Walk and reach Buckingham Palace and The Mall. Walk down The Mall and see Nelson's Column standing high above Trafalgar Square. There is often events happening in Trafalgar Square to enjoy, from live music to art exhibitions. Further East of Trafalgar Square is Covent Garden.

"Comfortable Living in London"

Our apartment was clean and strategically placed near several great pockets of culture, as well as central London itself. The coffee shop/breakfast place downstairs has a great atmosphere, partially thanks to the tall haired, good natured owner making excellent coffee in the outside area.

Our place had a fantastic partial view of the downtown skyscrapers and generally had a great "feel" to it. Highly recommended.
