Our property in Bloomsbury is a beautiful, traditional, London red brick apartment building on this famous Bloomsbury Garden Square, complete with trees and open-air café. Approximately two hundred meters away is Holborn Underground station with instant connections to all parts of London, and a five minute walk takes you to the British Museum. A more leisurely stroll leads to Covent Garden, Theatreland and Soho, while in the other direction lie Fleet Street, St Paul's and the City. Restaurants, shopping and convenience stores abound.

Named after the Hole-bourne (the stream in the hollow) which flowed through the area from north to south, to the Thames, Holborn is an area of Central London, England. Like much of the rest of East London, Holborn poverty-ridden by the 19th century. Holborn in the 18th century was notorious for being the location of London's most famous gay brothel. Much of the architecture and important buildings escaped significant damage during the Second World War although the area was bombed.
