Our interior designed apartment has cherry wood floors, hand crafted joinery, fully equipped kitchen, stylish shower room, flat screen television, free wireless broadband, direct dial telephone, radio, CD player and iPod dock, as well as added luxuries such as Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, with soaps and lotions from Gilchrist & Soames.

The South East England region

London is one of the most famous cities in the world and is full of culture and history. It is currently preparing for the 2012 Olympic Games which will be held in this exciting city.

You can wander around the many different museums and art galleries in London, most of them for free. Visit the famous Tate modern art gallery or take a trip to the Science Museum and take part in the many different fun activities available there.

You can visit Buckingham Palace and see the Queen's famous Guards or take a boat trip on the river and sail under the famous Tower bridge. Take a ride on the London Eye and see a stunning view of the whole of Greater London or even give your self a fright and go visit the eerie London Dungeons.

Central London/Zone 1

The apartments are available for short or long stays through Blueprint Living and are located in the centre of Clerkenwell, an area steeped in history, which is now home to many leading creative and design businesses. The train and Tube hub at Farringdon Station is only a minute’s walk away, providing quick and easy access to all parts of London, just one Tube stop to St Pancras International (Eurostar) and a direct train link to Gatwick Airport.

A variety of restaurants and pubs are also close-by including well-known establishments St John, Hix Oyster and Chop House, Moro, Bleeding Heart Yard and original gastro pub The Eagle. On Cowcross Street you will find Italian trattorias, coffee shops and a Marks & Spencer supermarket for when you want to eat at home. Hatton Garden – London’s jewellery quarter – and sites of cultural interest such as St Paul’s Cathedral, Smithfield and the Barbican Theatre are all within easy walking distance.

"Exceptional standard, a lot of thought and money has gone into these apartments and it shows!"

I booked my stay for 10 days and arrived in London Heathrow at 6am after 17 hrs flying. The owners were amazing - they let me lie down in a spare apartment while mine was being cleaned as they'd upgraded me to the penhouse. Can you see the average hotel doing that? No chance! I was impressed from the start.

The apartments are all very large and very centrally located, with an underground station, restaurants and convenience stores all within 5 mins walk. They have just be finished to an amazing standard. Wood floors, quality furniture, great kitchens with Bosche appliances, dishwasher etc. Two flat screen TV's with excellent reception - on in the living area and one in the bedroom. A proper sprung sofa bed that worked well as a sofa and a bed when I had a friend staying over one night. Good airconditioning as well throughout the apartment, something that is becoming more important in central London. Also free & fast wi-fi throughout the building.

The area is quiet and safe at night. In the day time, it's mostly office workers and there is very little road noise as the property is in a quiet side street. There's a lift to all five floors, and the whole place was immaculate - not a scuff or stain anywhere. I know it's fairly new but they are intent on keeping up standards.

The basement has a laundry area with two Bosche washing machines and two large dryers, as well as steam irons and ironing boards.

It is very easy to feel at home there and a longer term stay would be no hassle - everything is there for you. Housekeeping also were top notch, changed my towels on request early, and kept the place spotless.

The downside? Really only that the bed is queen size and a little squeezed in but that's maybe just that apartment. The duvet is top quality, the pillows not so much. I found them lumpy and uncomfortable - they could do better than this at Ikea even.

Overall though, this is way ahead of some of the more tired old serviced apartment chains out there and I think must easily be the best in London.
