The apartment is a charming, well-appointed, two-bedroomed Victorian apartment in the 'village' of West London's Brook Green in

Kensington Olympia. The apartment has high ceilings, is light and airy and is decorated and equipped to a high standard. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, on the corner of Milson Road, one of the most desirable roads in the area, within easy reach of High Street Kensington. This spacious apartment has a large living room and separate dining area with seating for up to eight guests. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, dish-washer, oven & hob, microwave and full cooking equipment.

There is a widescreen TV in the sitting room with all freeview channels, and DVD. Also a Bowers & Wilkins 'Zeppelin' docking station and Wi-Fi broadband access. The property is cleaned weekly, and there is also a washing machine available. There is security intercom access from the street below. There are a variety of local shops and pubs in Brook Green, and also a short walk away on High Street Kensington you will find a huge array of world class restaurants and big-name shops. The new mega-mall at Westfield (the biggest

in Europe) with its extensive retail, restaurant, leisure and transport facilities is also within easy walking distance.

The area is one of the most disireable parts of West London, situated as it is within easy reach of Heathrow Airport (25 mins by car), the heart of super-smart Kensington & Chelsea, London's glorious nearby Holland and Hyde parks, the amazing new shopping centre at Westfield, numerous nearby tube stations and some of the best restaurants and gastro pubs in the capital.

The apartment has high ceilings, is light and airy and is decorated and equipped to a very high standard.

The spacious apartment has a large living room and large seperate dining area with seating for up to eight guests. There is a well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven & grill, microwave oven and all other usual cooking equipment. It has two good sized bedrooms, one with king size double bed and the other with a double bed (this room can be split into two singles as a kids room) and plenty of storage space. Towels and bed linen are provided.

There is a brand new beautiful bathroom with travertine tiling and very modern bath and shower, and plenty of hot water. There is a widescreen TV with all freeview channels, and DVD. Also a Bowers & Wilkens Mini Zeppelin docking station and full Wi-Fi broadband access. The property is cleaned weekly and there is also a washing machine available.

There is a Waitrose supermarket on Kensington High Street (4 mins drive), a Tesco superstore (3 mins drive) also, there is one of the most famous gastro pubs in London, The Havelock, about 200m walk away, and another well known pub close by too, there are shops and restaurants galore at the new Westfield mega shopping centre. High Street Kensington is famous for its eateries and drinkeries (we send our clients a detailed information sheet of all the local information they are likely to need).

In this uber smart suburb of West London, you would be ideally positioned for access to central London and all that it offers - by way of the Central and Picadilly lines, taxi ranks are nearby. You would also be ideally positioned for access to day trips to the countryside - maybe Henley on Thames, Windsor, or the Cotswolds - because both the M4 & M40 motorways are both a five minute drive away. And if you are an exhibitor at Olympia exhibitions you will be ideally positioned a two minute walk away!

Gratton Road is an easy walk to Olympia Tube (overland train) in two minutes, Shepherds Bush Tube (Central Line) in 7-8 minutes, and Hammersmith on the Piccadilly Line in 7-8 minutes. Central London is no further than 25 minutes away by these routes. There are also regular buses to many different destinations from the bus stop outside Olympia Exhibition Hall (three minutes walk). You can use the popular Boris Bikes –pick up and drop off (there is a cycle park the other side of Olympia train station nearby. You just need to open an account with them online, it is easy. It is also quite easy to walk to High Street Kensington and Holland Park (about 15 minutes) and from there London is your oyster. Speaking of oysters, don't forget to buy an Oyster card, as it makes tube and train rides much cheaper (you can buy them at Tube stations). More information at www.oystercard.com. And of course there are the splendid Black London taxi cabs, which can be hailed from almost anywhere, and also we can recommend slightly cheaper local taxi firms.

Thanks for the feedback Vanessa, we're glad you enjoyed your stay there, and apologies that there was some excessive dust around, there actually had been some builders around upgrading an apartment upstairs the week before and I think they had created some excessive dust flying around, but I have alerted the housekeeper about that. And their very next job is that they are completely upgrading all the communal areas and corridor - so that will be completely new as of April 2014. Kind regards Lizzie

"A real home from home!"

We rented this appartment as a base to visit London and it was up to and beyond our expectations. It is not only excellent value for money, it is clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped (including excellent bedding) and more than that - a real home from home.
It is well situated in a quiet, safe, residential area with quick, easy access to central London.
Hugo was marvellous from the moment we showed interest in renting the appartment, prompt with replies to every question right up to the day we arrived.
We would certainly recommend this accommodation (in fact we already have done!) for friends, couples and familes alike and would not hestitate to rent it again on a future visit to London.
