Further details indoors:
The property has been renovated in a most sympathetic manner in the mid 1990s and maintained to a very high standard. The apartment has a large, bright modern living area on the ground floor with wooden floors and wood panelled walls. The authentic classical wooden shutters provide privacy from the quiet road outside. The lounge leads to a separate kitchen /diner with a table comfortably seating 8 .The modern kitchen with stainless steel and Slate work surfaces has all the modern conveniences you would expect including a Dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.
The 3 bedrooms are accessed by stairs to the lower ground floor with good natural light and modern contemporary bathrooms. The vast main bedroom has an Oak Superkingsize bed (6ft) and modern en suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a solid metal framed Kingsize (5ft) bedstead. There is a modern family bathroom with bath and shower facility. The third bedroom has bunkbeds with mattresses designed for either adults or children.
We can also make available a double inflatable mattress by arrangement. This would comfortably fit in the main bedroom if required.
Further details outdoors:
Although there is no private outside space there are public gardens at the end of the street and the royal St James Park is within a couple of hundred meters.
A parking space may be available by arrangement although a car has little value when getting around the central part of London and use of the car would attract a congestion charge.
Further details
A welcome brochure helps newcomers to London settle in quickly and find some local good restaurants and other facilities. Basic items (tea/coffee) are provided on your arrival but we would be grateful if you could replace what you use for the benefit of those who follow. The telephone can be used for local calls but we request you avoid its use for international calls and those to mobiles to avoid incurring additional expense.

BookThe South East England / London region
London is the capital city of England and has a vast selection of modern and historical sites to suit all tastes and interests as well as a great variety of restaurants and theatres. The city is very culturally diverse and has attractions for all.
The Central London/Zone 1 / Westminster area
The Royal City of Westminster is in the true heart of London and the public transport links are excellent both within the city and to surrounding areas including 4 international airports within 50km. The transport links are all well integrated and there is an Oyster Card system that makes London local travel easier and more economic.
Some of the many famous sites for which London is famous can in fact be reached from this flat without the need for the use of public transport due to its central location!
Londons museums are mainly free to enter and two of the most famous the National Portrait gallery and the National Gallery are on the flats doorstep.

We travelled with our young children from Australia and just loved the apartment. We were able to walk to everywhere from tube stations, taxi stands, pubs, the london eye, etc, etc. It was just so central. The aparment was spacious and in very good condition. Communication with the owners was excellent and I highly recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to the UK. Thanks again we had a wonderful time. |
