Whatever you want, London has it...history overload...start with the Museum of London to get a comprehensive overview of what London was like before London was here (pre-history) - and everything that has happened since. Go on to the Tower (1,000 years on, still a commanding presence above Traitor's Gate on the Thames), the Abbey, Monument (to the Great Fire of London), Guildhall, Royal Courts of Justice, Temple Church, the City (the Square Mile).
