This Central London apartment is in a Victorian house with period features and antique furniture (sash windows, wooden floors); it is bright and airy with high ceilings. Good access to transport (tube and bus).

The flat caters for 4 people with a separate double bedroom (with a door) and double bed + a double sofa bed with anti allergy bedding. Both bathroom and kitchen have an independent access from bedroom and drawing-room. Bedroom and kitchen overlook a south facing garden. The kitchen has a bar to enjoy all meals whilst enjoying the garden view.

We provide a welcome pack (bread, milk, butter orange juice) for tenants plus the basic food (tea coffee, cereal, olive oil...) as well as toiletries and cleaning products.

The self-catering flat offers Virgin TV/ Wi-fi, a collection of DVDs and books and a printer.

For early and late arrivals tenants can let themselves in via a key safe. We meet tenants at the flat to show them around and describe the amenities around area (the local supermarket the Co-op 4 minutes away from the flat...)

The flat is located in a quiet residential area, it is also ideally situated for all the amenities and attractions London has to offer.

Chelsea Wharf with its ten-acre park and access to the river is less than five minutes' walk away: closer is the world-renowned 606 Jazz Club. Sports fans can enjoy the spectacle at Chelsea Football Ground, while bargain-hunters can wander round the auction house (literally at the end of the road) and the antique-shops that have sprung-up around it.

Burnaby Street is two minutes from London's famous Kings Road with its trendy high-end shops, boutiques, coffee-houses, cinemas, bars, restaurants and night-clubs - London's beautiful people throng to Bluebird, Eight over Eight, Beaufort House, Raffles and the famous '151' - all within a fifteen minute walk. The Duke of Wellington Square just 10-minute away from the flat by bus has a food market at weekends and a variety of restaurants and French pastries shops in the pedestrian area.

Transport links to the property - by plane, the closer airport is Heathrow, either take the Heathrow Express to Paddington station and jump in a taxi, the ride will take 20 minutes or take the tube (Piccadilly line) to South Kensington station, with a 10 to15 minutes taxi ride to the property .

Another alternative is Gatwick airport. The Gatwick Express brings you directly to Victoria station, the taxi ride will take 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can go on the tube at Victoria, take the district or circle line to South Kensington or Sloane Square, the taxi ride will be 10 to 15 minutes long.

By train, take the Eurostar at St Pancras International station, taxi ride will take 25 minutes to the property.

Transport links from the property - take a train from the newly-opened Imperial Wharf station (7 minutes walk from the apartment) and join the District Line - which gives access to the whole City with its museums, art galleries, palaces and ancient buildings - at West Brompton station. Or stay on the train to Olympia - or the new Westfield Shopping Centre with its shops, bars and cinemas in just 9 minutes. There is also a connection to Clapham Junction with trains to Windsor Castle and other tourist attractions around London. Additionally there are numerous 'buses to take you along the Kings Road to Sloane Square (home of Peter Jones' Department Store) where you can also pick-up the London Underground rail-system.

The flat comes equipped with linens and towels as well as a washing-machine/dryer for your own laundry requirements. It has polished wood floors and Gabbeh rugs as well as a TV with a DVD player and a DVD library. There is also internet access via Wifi. The bathroom and kitchen has been newly refurbished.

If you want to eat-in, there is fully-equipped kitchen (complete Anolon professional cookware set) and the supermarket is a five-minute walk away. For ultra-convenient eating-out the Lots Road Gastro-Pub is just around the corner, and the Chelsea Ram with its varied menu of food and drink is less than sixty seconds' walk from the front door. For those of a more-adventurous gastronomical disposition, Chutney Mary's (Indian cuisine) is 5 minutes away, and La Famiglia (Italian) is also close-by.

"Cosy flat in a lovely neighbourhood"

We spent the week around Christmas in the cosy flat on Burnaby Street and were very comfortable. The flat was warm and there was every convenience, including a hair dryer, ironing board, and a fully equipped kitchen. Our children shared the sofa bed and were fine with that. The wi-fi was excellent.
We mostly took the bus into town, there were buses at all hours. We did our food shopping in the shops at Fulham Broadway and there were plenty to choose from. But it was perfect to have the lovely Chelsea Ram in the same street!
Lucia, who welcomed us to the flat was very nice and helpful. We would love to stay there again!

"Chelsea - a great base for our week in London"

We had a great week in London at the end of July. Staying in our own little flat in Chelsea provided us with the perfect base from which to visit the many places in and around this vibrant capital city. Getting into the city was a simple matter of catching one of London's regular double decker buses - no timetable needed as there was always another bus coming along! We always climbed up to the top deck so that our short journey became part of our sightseeing each day. The flat held everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The benefit of staying in a flat as opposed to an hotel is that washing clothes is easy and, of course, preparing your own simple meals saves you heaps of money! You can still eat out but you don't have to look for every snack or meal on the street.

"We came back - and we will be back again"

We first stayed at this flat a year and a half ago and it was our first choice when returning to London again for a week. Luckily for us - the flat was available.
The kitchen, bathroom and hallway has been done up since then and this made the flat even better than last time. (Though the fridge is a little small now, but when that is the only negative you can say about a rental flat - you know the place is good...)

The location is great - close to so many things yet in a relatively quiet area. Natural History Museum and Hyde Park is a favourite in this household. Close to the London Overground station and plenty of buses to take you to Sloane Square and the West End. This time we did a lovely walk along the Thames, past Albert Bridge, Battersea Power Station, The Tate before ending up at Big Ben after an hour long stroll - wonderful.

Next time we return we will stay here again.

"Beautiful, elegant flat with a great location"

We had a lovely stay in this flat in June. Isabelle gave us excellent directions to the flat and answered every question I had beforehand. She met us at the flat and once again answered all questions. The flat is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything one might need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is perfectly fitted out.

The size was perfect for my husband, our young adult son, and me.

Our only complaint was that we had to leave because our holiday was over!

"Everything, Excellent!"

From the time I contacted the owner, to the time we begrudgingly left, everything couldn't have been better. Furnishings = Excellent. Cleanliness = Excellent. Proximity to transport, restaurants, pub, river = Excellent. Owner had lots of good advice. Free WiFi. We would go back in a flash.

"Lovely flat in Chelsea"

This is a lovely, attractively furnished flat tucked into a corner of Chelsea, about a five minute walk to the river or bus. We stayed in the bottom flat, which sleps four (two double beds) and has exclusive use of a small garden. The rooms were sunny and welcoming, with a well-equipped kitchen stocked with a few tasty provisions so you can wait a day to shop. The shower in the bathroom is fabulous - I want to build one at my own home. The owner took care of all inquiries without delay and was very helpful. The flat is far more convenient to the bus than the tube - there are two main bus lines within a five minute walk, servicing all of central London late into the night, but the nearest tube (Fulham Broadway) is 15 minutes by foot. There are two excellent gastropubs within three blocks of the flat. I plan to return and could not recommend this rental more highly - it feels much more like a home than a vacation rental.

"Absolutely superb Apartment"

Stayed for 8 nights in this great Apartment with our family of 4. The photos/information paint a totally accurate picture. Owner Isabelle is a pleasure to deal with and is reassuring with her responses. You know you are dealing with a genuine, caring owner. The flat is well set up with a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge and a queen bed in a bedroom with huge storage space with multiple drawers. Everything you need is here including WIFI which works perfectly. The bathroom is European styled, so no door on the shower but it is a tiled wet room. The kitchen is a typical compact London kitchen with all you need. The area is well located and safe with multiple transport options, all within 5-10 mins walk.
