Set over two floors in a desirable street close to Notting Hill's many independent boutiques, restaurants, bars and cafes. Walk to Ladbroke Grove, Westbourne Park or Notting Hill Gate Underground for fast and easy access to the rest of London.

Once through the front door, guests will find themselves in the incredibly spacious, open plan living area which consists of the kitchen, dining room and living room. The living room is a huge space boasting two armchairs, large leather sofa, glass topped coffee table and a flat screen television for entertainment. Interesting artwork adorns the walls and a delightful working fireplace is a great feature.

At the back of the room is the kitchen and dining table. The kitchen sits on the left side of the room and has a window which overlooks the private garden. It is very modern offering all the amenities one would expect from a property of this nature. There is a modern oven, hob and bespoke units and work tops.

Next to here is the dining table which comfortably seats five people and benefits greatly from floor to ceiling windows that not only consume this area in natural light but provide views of the well cared for garden.

Unusually it is downstairs that the two double bedrooms and two bathrooms are located. The first is a great size and offers guests an en-suite bathroom as well. There is a king size double bed, desk and a bedside table. The en-suite has a bath, shower attachment, wash basin and a WC. it is finished to a very high standard.

The second bedroom at the rear of the property is an absolute triumph. Again floor to ceiling windows provide a lot of natural light and a glassed patio door allows access to the garden which has a patio area and is very private. The double bedroom itself has large fitted wardrobe, bedside tables, is decorated and furnished tastefully and features another king size bed.

Back in the hallway is the second bathroom which is again very modern and finished to a high standard. There's a contemporary walk in shower, separate bath, heated towel rails, wash basin and a WC.

This property is in a great part of Notting Hill, close to the desirable shops of Westbourne Grove, Portobello Road and Bayswater. This area has a range of attractions for guests of any age to enjoy. There are many interesting restaurants and cafes within a few minute's stroll, particularly along Westbourne Grove and the Portobello Road. The impressive new Westfield Shopping Centre is also closeby with over 300 shops, a cinema and many restaurants and cafes.

Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are both within walking distance in less than 30 minutes, to the south. Another great walk is along Portobello Road through the famous market stalls of fresh food, flowers, clothes and antiques.

For transport, you are close to Ladbroke Grove (Hammersmith &City and Circle), Notting Hill Gate (Central) and Westbourne Park (Hammersmith & City) tube stations. You can be at South Kensington for the museums - Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert - and shops from Notting Hill station in 10 minutes. Continue one stop further to Sloane Square for the designer brands, boutique shops and upmarket restaurants of Chelsea.

Knightsbridge is also not far away, where you'll find the world-famous department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols. If you want to experience Oxford Street shopping, it will only take you 15 minutes from Notting Hill Gate as well.

It is also only 25 minutes to the West End for the theatre scene and Covent Garden with its piazza, high end restaurants, luxury brands and street performers.

Notting Hill is a cosmopolitan district known for its summer carnival and perhaps more famously, Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in 'that' movie. It has a contemporary reputation as a fashionable and affluent area, known for attractive terraces of large Victorian townhouses, high-end retail and restaurants – perfect for families of all sizes and ages.

The pastel-coloured homes are as iconic to London as Big Ben, and Portobello Market is a classically British attraction. With stalls of antiques, jewellery, furs, fresh street food and often performers amid the upmarket shops, this in an area which must be visited. Refuel in one of the charming cafes with a cappuccino and some artisan treats, or perhaps choose one of the many restaurants for an impressive dining experience. For cinema with a difference, the Electric Cinema offers leather armchairs, footstools and cashmere blankets.

Nearby Westbourne Grove is the perfect spot for some shopping and brunch at Nicole Farhi's 202 which comprises both café and fashion boutique. The area has also had an association with artists and 'alternative' culture for some time with Notting Hill Arts Club a 'muso' favourite. Its cultural diversity, proximity to central London and large family homes make it a prime location for a stylish stay for all the family.
