A superb garden apartment which is both spacious and light, and perfect for the travelling family! Walk down a couple of steps to the property's own front door in this trendy West London neighbourhood.

Once through the front door, guests will find themselves in a spacious hallway with light wooden flooring. Off to the left is the first of three bedrooms. This one is a good size and incredibly light owing to the large bay window which faces out onto the front of the property. There is a large single bed (which can be extended to a double), a fitted wardrobe and a book shelf. The bedroom is carpeted creating a cosy and warm room.

Directly opposite is the living area, a great room for the entire family to get together after a day exploring all London has to offer. There is a 3 seater sofa and couple of armchairs, ideally positioned in the glorious bay window. There is a flat screen television for entertainment, a stylish original fireplace, a large book shelf and a coffee table sits in the middle of the room on an 'Aztec' style rug.

Through the back of the living area is a highly modern and spacious kitchen. High specification, white fitted appliances with granite worktops and a built-in microwave will ensure guests have everything they need and more. There is a modern oven, extractor fan, fridge/freezer and room for a small table. The entire apartment is light and airy but in particular this room is bathed in natural light and has wonderful views of the rear garden. French styled doors lead out into the garden.

This garden is charming; there is a patio area with a bench - perfect place for alfresco dining or simply a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Climb a few steps to the raised, turfed area of the garden. It is a great sized garden for London and is sure to be popular in the summer months!

At the back of the apartment is the stunning master bedroom. It has a king-sized bed, two mahogany chest of drawers, a comfortable armchair and a wall-mounted flat screen television for entertainment. Another set of French doors ensure the room is bathed in natural light whilst providing access to the garden. There are two bedside tables and a beautifully finished en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has 'his and hers' wash basins, a bath, overhead shower and WC.

The third bedroom is situated next to the master and is currently set up for a baby, with a cot, chest of drawers and a book shelf. Back down the hallway towards the front door is the family bathroom which boasts a bath, overhead shower, heated towel rail, wash basin and WC.

With the heart of Notting Hill being just a few minutes walk away, you'll enjoy the lively neighbourhood with its cafes, restaurants, market and boutique shops as well as its many pubs and bars. It holds much in the way of entertainment, whatever your interest, including the world famous Notting Hill Carnival at the end of August, which is a mark to the cultural vibrancy of this area. The famous Portobello Road is literally less than a minute away with its vintage shops and quirky cafes. The green spaces of Holland Park and Kensington Gardens are also close by.

For venturing into other parts of London, you're a 1 minute walk to Ladbroke Grove underground station (served by both the Hammersmith & City and Circle lines). Guests can be at Oxford Circus in 20 minutes. There are also a number of buses, from the nearby stop, taking you directly to destinations such as Hyde Park, Knightsbridge and Soho.

Notting Hill is a cosmopolitan district known for its summer carnival and perhaps more famously, Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in 'that' movie. It has a contemporary reputation as a fashionable and affluent area, known for attractive terraces of large Victorian townhouses, high-end retail and restaurants – perfect for families of all sizes and ages.

The pastel-coloured homes are as iconic to London as Big Ben, and Portobello Market is a classically British attraction. With stalls of antiques, jewellery, furs, fresh street food and often performers amid the upmarket shops, this in an area which must be visited. Refuel in one of the charming cafes with a cappuccino and some artisan treats, or perhaps choose one of the many restaurants for an impressive dining experience. For cinema with a difference, the Electric Cinema offers leather armchairs, footstools and cashmere blankets.

Nearby Westbourne Grove is the perfect spot for some shopping and brunch at Nicole Farhi's 202 which comprises both café and fashion boutique. The area has also had an association with artists and 'alternative' culture for some time with Notting Hill Arts Club a 'muso' favourite. Its cultural diversity, proximity to central London and large family homes make it a prime location for a stylish stay for all the family.
