Tucked away in the very heart of Chelsea this one bedroom property is situated in one of the most spectacular locations in London. Sydney Street is located just off the immensely popular King's Road with its sumptuous high-end boutiques, fashionable restaurants, and countless places to be seen sitting amongst London's social elite. The street itself is one of Chelsea's most attractive, the focal point being the stunning Victorian church, St Luke's. Built in 1819, it has joined in union many of London's most notable, including the one and only Charles Dickens in 1836!

On entering the main front door to the building, you will find yourself in an immaculate entrance hall with cream carpets leading up to the second floor. Inside the apartment, the kitchen and dining room make up the interior of the property. There's a large wooden dining table, a kitchenette which has been assembled with all the useful modern amenities you might need. The view over the back of the property is both peaceful and allows in plenty of natural light.

Through to the front of the property is a large living room, flooded with natural light and views down Sydney Street and over to St Luke's Church. This room boasts a very large top of the range, high definition wide screen TV which is ideal for some relaxing evening entertainment. In addition there are two sofas, one of which extends to an extremely comfortable double sofa bed making the apartment ideal for a small travelling family or two couples.

At the back of the property is a bathroom stylishly equipped with modern fixtures and a bath (with a shower built in). The master bedroom is also at the back of the property (away from the street for a good night's sleep) with a double bed and plenty of storage in the built-in wardrobes.

This second floor apartment is housed in the typical white stucco Chelsea style building which has become famous for its appearance and historic architecture. The black wrought iron railings bordering these properties are reminiscent of the Victorian era when gas lighting lit up London before electricity arrived!

Situated just a 5 minute walk from South Kensington tube you will have excellent access to a plethora of bus routes to can whisk you into the centre of the city in minutes. Alternatively there is the Piccadilly line which takes you to Piccadilly Circus (via Green Park) and popular Soho in just 10 minutes.

Not to be missed are the famous museums of South Kensington including the popular Victoria & Albert museum, often nominated as the world's best museum of art and design - less than a 5 minute walk. Knightsbridge and Harrods are also an attractive 15-20 minute walk from the property through the centre of Kensington.

The unique location of this apartment means that for dining out there really is something to suit all tastes! If you're looking for trendy and affordable, then we'd recommend the Big Easy a vibrant restaurant at all times of the week. And if a glass of wine in the sunshine is the order of the day then you should look no further than the highly popular Bluebird Café! Both are a short 5 minute walk from the property!

The London region

Chelsea is an upmarket neighbourhood equivalent to that of New York's Upper East Side or the 16th arrondissement of Paris, with stylish and unique homes to match. It is a wealthy area of London that overlooks the River Thames from Chelsea Bridge near Battersea, right along the Chelsea Embankment to Chelsea Harbour, a perfect spot for a romantic evening with its many restaurants and bars.

The most famous street in the area is the King's Road, which takes its name from the time it was Charles II's private thoroughfare, and is one of the Capital's most popular streets with a good variety of shops and cafes to explore. At the North East end, you'll find Sloane Square which also has many high end shops, such as Tiffany & Co. and Hugo Boss as well as the impressive Saatchi Gallery at the Duke of York's Square. The King's Road is home to many fine dining restaurants, including Gordon Ramsay, Hache, Tom's Kitchen and The Bluebird, which is often noted as the place to be seen in Chelsea.

This area oozes elegance and a luxury lifestyle, and would be a recommended choice for both families and couples looking for a highly memorable city break.
