8902-3 Bed house, First Street, Knightsbridge
House | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Set in one of London's most ideal locations this three bedroom property certainly lives up to the notoriety of its environs! Immaculate and sophisticated, you're just a 5 minute walk (and a couple of extra minutes to the Knightsbridge station) to the much sought-after Harrods department store. Located in the heart of this historic borough and bordered either side by Kensington and Chelsea, there really isn't a better place to be located in London!
Situated on a charming and peaceful street, architecturally typical of this area and reminiscent of a time of gentility and top hats, this property is set over four floors with two bathrooms. Approaching the property a couple of steps leads you directly into the open plan drawing room with its muted colours, subtle lighting and period features. With its wooden parquet flooring and comfortable duck egg blue sofa, this room is both welcoming and stylish. Leading off this room is the cosy study area with antique writing desk and views out over the back of the property.
As you descend the stairs to the converted basement, you'll find a further two perfectly proportioned rooms. The kitchen is both modern and sleek with dark granite worktops, integral kitchen appliances and all the utensils you'll need to prepare meals at home. This leads through to the dining area, flooded with natural light owing to the glass walls and boasting a wooden table comfortably seating six. This extension leads directly onto a back paved patio area, perfect for drinks in the warm weather and. A little bonus is another living room/snug at the front of the property, with more seating, a fireplace and a brand new flat screen TV (larger than the photo) for evening relaxation!
The two floors on the property houses the 3 bedrooms, main bathroom and en suite. On the first floor are two good-sized bedrooms - one a well lit double bedroom tastefully decorated in neutral tones and the other set up as a smaller double bedroom with a double pull out sofa bed. The main bathroom has a large walk-in shower, stylish fixtures and WC.
Up onto the top floor of the property is the master bedroom, flooded with natural light and with views out over the Knightsbridge rooftops. Decorated with tasteful creams and whites this bedroom boasts plenty of storage and its own en-suite complete with twin marble sinks, a walk-in shower and separate bath. Modern, immaculate and perfectly maintained this bathroom is truly worthy of the rest of the house and the perfect place to relax after a long day!
Located on First Street, a haven of style and charm you will literally be spoilt for choice with your local environs! The ultra popular King's Road and Sloane Square with their fine dining experiences and upmarket boutiques are a must see! Also not to be missed are the famous museums of South Kensington including the Victoria & Albert often nominated as the world's best museum of art and design. If a stroll in the park is more to your fancy then we would recommend the nearby oasis of Hyde Park with its beautiful scenery and resident Kensington Palace to the west with all of its grounds.
Situated just a 9 minute walk to South Kensington and a 7 minute walk to Knightsbridge tube, you will have excellent access to both the Piccadilly line and the Central and District lines which can take you to Piccadilly Circus (via Green Park) and Soho / Covent Garden in just 10 minutes.

The South East England region
Just West of Green Park and bordering Hyde Park, luxurious Knightsbridge is an immensely affluent area and is known for the world-famous department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Harrods is a British institution, selling a huge range of luxury goods and attracting millions of visitors a year to explore its 5 acre space – there is sure to be something here to amuse the whole family. Harvey Nichols is also within strolling distance, and just around the corner, Sloane Street is home to designer brands Armani, Prada, Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent.
This area has an air of chic sophistication, and the period properties – often white Georgian townhouses - offer stylish homes for a stay too. Nearby Belgrave Square Garden is impressive, and you wouldn't be short of highly acclaimed restaurants and bars for an evening out. Apsley House, often known as 'Number One London', embodies the history and grandeur of the area; a fine Georgian building and home to the first Duke of Wellington, this stately attraction is one to fascinate all the family.
