Ideally located on the cusp of both Kensington and Notting Hill, off the popular Kensington Church Street, this spacious house has three double bedrooms and a private roof terrace. A mere 1 minute's walk from Notting Hill Gate Underground station, this property sits in a quiet, peaceful street in one of London's most desirable locations. Kensington Church Street, is in itself famed for its antique shops and high end boutiques and is a short 5 minute walk from Kensington High Street where you will be able to access a huge variety of shops and restaurants. And if this wasn't enough, the property is also only 5 minutes from Kensington Palace Gardens and Hyde Park and further still a 5 minute walk from Portobello Road... we can hardly think of a better place to stay!

Formerly two houses, the property has been carefully renovated into one comfortable, spacious home benefiting from a beautiful glass ceilinged atrium which connects the house. Inside you'll find three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, two reception rooms and a bespoke spiral staircase leading to a large roof terrace which occupies the whole of the top of the building. In any direction, you'll be able to walk to the many restaurants and boutiques which Notting Hill, Kensington Church Street or High Street Kensington and its environs offer.

The front reception room, on the ground floor, is a good size and affords a lot of natural light from the large window which looks onto the street. There are two comfortable sofas, an armchair and a designer ottoman ensuring plenty of seating for everyone. With two large bookcases, and a mini grand piano, you'll find plenty of ways to relax within the home.

This leads through to the second reception/dining room, with a sofa, a small leather stool, desk with printer/scanner and another bookcase. A large painting adorns the wall and there is a round, dark wood table. A wall-mounted flat-screen television sits opposite the sofa.

Conveniently, the modern integrated kitchen is situated next to the dining room offering a slice of open plan living. This kitchen has everything you could wish for... granite work tops ensure it is finished to a very high standard, two separate ovens, large fridge/freezer, full range cooker and dishwasher. A large window above the sink allows lots of natural light and views of the quiet street at the back.

Where a courtyard once sat between the former two properties, now sits an architectural triumph - a bespoke staircase which spirals from the ground floor up to the second storey. Glass roofed it encourages a great deal of natural sunlight which bounces off the floor-to-ceiling mirror running down the stairs.

The first floor hosts the three double bedrooms; the first of which is the master bedroom, which is conveniently designed to be either en suite (by shutting the first door) or leaving this bathroom open to other guests, by closing the second door leading to the bedroom. The room is very light and tastefully decorated, with a double bed, a couple of bedside tables and a large fitted wardrobe. The bathroom is finished in marble and features a walk-in power shower, double heated towel rail, loo and wash basin. There is a mirror and wooden shelf for convenience.

Across the hallway are the second and third bedrooms. The second bedroom is a good sized double, again very light and with windows which look onto the internal spiral staircase and to the back of the house. There is a double antique sleigh bed, mahogany chest of drawers, a free-standing wardrobe and shelves for books. Two bedside tables complete the overall look of this excellent second bedroom.

The third and final bedroom is a small double. There's a small double bed, bedside table, free-standing wardrobe and a small chair. The wall-mounted lamps are ideally positioned at the head of the bed – perfect for reading by.

The family bathroom is again finished in marble with a large bath, separate modern power shower, heated towel rail, wash basin and loo.

Finally, on the top floor, is the large roof terrace - a real sun trap allowing excellent views of the delightful neighbourhood below. There is a large table with six chairs - perfect for al fresco dining in the summer months. There are two sun loungers with smaller tables for resting drinks upon. This is a fantastic and private space which has a Webber BBQ and even a lemon tree (currently covered from the elements) making for a beautiful focal point.

This is a stunning property in a magical part of London. With Notting Hill on your doorstep enjoy the lively neighbourhood with its cafes, restaurants and boutique shops as well as its many pubs and bars. Walk or jog to Hyde Park for exercise or to visit Kensington Palace Gardens and soak in the British culture. The farmers' market - open on the weekends - is a minute's walk away and a super place to buy fresh produce. American guests may be pleased to hear there is a huge Wholefoods store on High Street Kensington - no more than a 10 minute walk - with restaurants and cafes and a fantastic range of food and drink to take away... perhaps for a picnic on the roof terrace if the weather's fine!

For travelling further afield, Notting Hill Gate tube station is only a 1 minute walk away, handily connected on the Central, District and Circle lines and can whizz you to Oxford Circus within 10 minutes. The area is also well served by the 28, 328, 452, and 27 bus links.

Chelsea is an upmarket neighbourhood equivalent to that of New York's Upper East Side or the 16th arrondissement of Paris, with stylish and unique homes to match. It is a wealthy area of London that overlooks the River Thames from Chelsea Bridge near Battersea, right along the Chelsea Embankment to Chelsea Harbour, a perfect spot for a romantic evening with its many restaurants and bars.

The most famous street in the area is the King's Road, which takes its name from the time it was Charles II's private thoroughfare, and is one of the Capital's most popular streets with a good variety of shops and cafes to explore. At the North East end, you'll find Sloane Square which also has many high end shops, such as Tiffany & Co. and Hugo Boss as well as the impressive Saatchi Gallery at the Duke of York's Square. The King's Road is home to many fine dining restaurants, including Gordon Ramsay, Hache, Tom's Kitchen and The Bluebird, which is often noted as the place to be seen in Chelsea.

This area oozes elegance and a luxury lifestyle, and would be a recommended choice for both families and couples looking for a highly memorable city break.
