A family-friendly home situated in a leafy part of North London just a short 3 minute walk to Kensal Green Underground (connects to the Bakerloo line) as well as the Overground network.
Walk through the front door and guests will find themselves in the beautifully tiled entry hall. To the left, double doors lead through to the formal living area. There are two 3 seater sofas, two oversized ottomans and a cosy armchair - allowing ample seating for all guests. Wooden flooring, trendy artwork adorning the walls and a stunning fireplace add to the charm of the living space.
Through the back of this room are a couple of steps which take guests down into the modern kitchen area. There's a kitchen island, with a sink, a built-in microwave, modern oven, hob, large American style fridge/freeze as well as a little bar... perhaps for preparing a gin and tonic before dinner! Towards the back of the room is another informal sitting area with a large sofa and a good sized dining table. This room benefits from a lot of natural light owing to the sloped, glass atrium-style ceiling and sliding patio doors which allow access to the garden.
The garden is generously proportioned, with a patio area and a bench, coffee table, outdoor chairs and a BBQ ... so perfect for alfresco dining during the warmer months! Beyond the patio is a grassed area for children to play on.
Conveniently on the ground floor there is also a utility room next to the kitchen which hosts a W.C, a wash basin and washing machine.
Upstairs on the first floor is where you will find the delightful master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There's a chaise longue in the large bay window, a double bed and two chest of drawers which also act as bedside tables. Further storage is provided for guests in part of the large white fitted wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom is accessed via double doors and includes a modern walk-in shower, W.C and a marble topped basin.
Immediately outside the master bedroom, is a good sized child's bedroom. This room is decorated in neutral tones and is very welcoming, featuring a child's single bed (which would not suit an adult unfortunately) and an array of cuddly, soft toys and cupboard space. There is also a comfortable armchair - perfect for some bedtime story reading! A single mattress or a cot could be set up here, upon request, to sleep another child.
Further down the hallway is the family bathroom and another double bedroom. The bathroom features a large bath, waterfall shower, W.C. and a marble-topped basin. The double bedroom is south-facing and has a double bed, large chest of drawers for storage, two matching bedside tables and a wooden chair. It is a great double bedroom offering easy access to the main family bathroom.
Up on the second floor are 2 further bedrooms. The first of which is currently used by the owners as an office and boasts a lot of natural light. There is a small desk and chair and a larger desk which stretches the length of the room. It is a great work space and a decent bedroom as well. There is a two seater sofa which pulls out into a comfortable double bed, should this be your preferred choice.
Across the hallway a small staircase takes you up to another en-suite bedroom. This is the largest of them all and even features a kitchenette! There is a double bed, full length mirror, dark wooden chest of drawers and a small Juliette balcony. The en-suite has a bath, shower, W.C. and a squared wash basin. The kitchenette has a small oven, electric hob, sink and some cupboard space. There is also a kettle, toaster and cooking utensils.
This is a perfect home for a large family or two smaller families. Excellent transport links from Kensal Green ensure easy access throughout London. Oxford Circus (Oxford Street) can be reached in under 20 minutes and Leicester Square and Covent Garden in a little over 25 minutes. In addition this property is located very near Kensal Rise Overground station which can get you to Westfield shopping centre in just 15 minutes!

The South East England region
Queens Park is perfectly situated between other desirable neighbourhoods of Kensal Rise, Kensal Green and Kilburn. Next to the borough of Westminster in North West London the area was developed back in 1875 and grandly named in honour of Queen Victoria.
The main focus of the area is one of London's most popular and beautiful green spaces comprising of 30 acres – Queens Park itself. It is a great space for families, couples and groups to explore, particularly during the warmer summer months but can also make for wonderful Autumnal and wintry walks. Open from 7am until dusk every day of the year, the park boasts six tennis courts, a pitch and putt golf course, children's playground with paddling pool, an ornamental garden and even a children's animal farm. It is a great spot for the entire family to get together and the ideal place for a picnic.
Guests lucky enough to be staying in the Queens Park area will be in good company with Jade Jagger, Sophie Dahl and Daniel Craig amongst many musicians and artists calling it home. Nearby Chamberlayne Road, in Kensal Rise with its array of independent shops and restaurants was even named 'hippest street' in Europe by Vogue magazine, quite the accolade! Queens Park underground/overground, Kensal Rise overground and excellent bus routes ensure guests are never too far from other key attractions that London offers. Oxford Street can be reached in just 15 minutes and Leicester Square in 20 minutes. For trips out of London Euston main rail train station is just 12 minutes away and boasts fast Virgin trains to the North of England.
A wonderful, flourishing neighbourhood offering excellent local amenities, an array of stunning homes and various transport options ensuring the rest of London is quickly and easily accessed. It is not difficult to understand why so many celebrities and affluent families love everything that Queens Park offers.
