With a fresh design and decor, this lovely townhouse is a fantastic escape for a family or friends to stay during the holidays.

On entering the house, you are greeted by the cosy living room and dining area. These lead through to the kitchen - and a small study area - which looks onto the smartly decked terrace at the back and side of the property.

Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms. Upon request, an extra mattress can be brought in to sleep an additional guest. And, perhaps our favourite room in this property is the very spacious bathroom - with a free-standing bath and walk-shower and a big mirror - the perfect place to get ready for your Christmas or New Year's celebrations!

You're well placed for transport as Queen's Park Underground (on the Bakerloo line) and Overground is about a 7 minute walk: the former will whisk you down to Oxford Street in just 20 minutes, the latter will take you to the main hub of Euston station in under 10 minutes. About the same time in the other direction, you'll find Kensal Rise Overground, providing direct trains to Hampstead Heath, fashionable Shoreditch, as well as the banks of the Thames at Richmond. Notting Hill, Portobello Market and the Regent's Canal are 10 minutes walk away.

The London region

Westminster

Westminster is a well-to-do, historical area with many prestigious landmarks and visitor attractions. It provides a wide choice of parks and open spaces such as St. James Park and Green Park, as well as political London icons 10 Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament. The Palace of Westminster, 'Big Ben', Buckingham Palace - home to the Queen of England - and Westminster Abbey where Kate Middleton and Prince William were married, are all in this beautiful area. Parliament Square, with its lawn and statues of past statesmen, is a popular tourist spot and a space from which you can see some of the most iconic architecture of the Capital.

Families will enjoy this area, with many luxurious modern developments nestled amongst the traditional period homes which provide plenty of space. Take a walk along the Victoria Embankment which has some brilliant views of the city's skyline, and if you head to the Southwest, the area of Victoria has many restaurants, bars and shops to explore, particularly in Cardinal Place. One eatery of note is in the Old Westminster Library which dates back to 1893 and was transformed into an upmarket Indian restaurant in 2001: The Cinnamon Club.
