6672-Smith Terrace, 3 bed Mews house, Chelsea
House | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 5
Pretty townhouse set over 3 floors with 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, outdoor space and a great location in Chelsea.
Enter the home and the hallway takes you to a spacious and comfortable sitting room decorated in stylish, muted colours and with an original fireplace and plenty of seating. At the far end of this room you'll find another seating area with a small flatscreen TV.
At the rear of the house you will find the kitchen which is well-equipped with a hob and oven, microwave, cafetiere and washing machine/tumble dryer. There's even a trouser press if you're here on business! This room has a lovely dining area, with a glass roof above letting in lots of natural light, and an iPod dock.
At the very back of the house, there is a study with large bookshelves, a beautiful antique desk and French doors out onto the pretty garden. In warm weather, relax out here with a coffee and a good book.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is spacious with a double bed, matching dark wood bedside tables, a chest of drawers, built-in wardrobes and sash windows. Off this room there is an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower attachment and a sink, and there's also a separate loo. On this first floor there is also a lovely decked roof terrace.
Further up on the top floor you'll find a second double bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables and a chest of drawers. There's a third bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe space, bookshelves and a sink. There's a second bathroom serving these bedrooms with a modern walk-in shower unit, a loo and a sink.
This home is in a fantastic spot in upmarket Chelsea. You are only a minute's stroll from the famous King's Road which is home to a selection of boutique shops, cafes, bars and fine dining restaurants. Sloane Square is only a few minutes' walk from the house and is known for its luxury feel. Sloane Street running off this square has many designer shops including Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Yves St Laurent and Armani.
This is a highly sought-after neighbourhood and has many attractions nearby which are must-see spots. The Museums of South Kensington – Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert Museums – are only a 15 minute walk away or just hop on a bus. World-famous department store Harrods is traditionally British and very impressive, in the nearby area of Knightsbridge. The walk would be 20 minutes or perhaps just hop on one of the many buses running nearby.
Sloane Square is your closest tube station, a 10 minute walk away, which connects to the District and Circle lines. Oxford Street for more shops and attractions is only a 12 minute journey from here. It is also only a 15 minute walk to South Kensington tube station which joins the Piccadilly line; this line will take you direct to Leicester Square for the West End.

The South East England region
Chelsea is an upmarket neighbourhood equivalent to that of New York's Upper East Side or the 16th arrondissement of Paris, with stylish and unique homes to match. It is a wealthy area of London that overlooks the River Thames from Chelsea Bridge near Battersea, right along the Chelsea Embankment to Chelsea Harbour, a perfect spot for a romantic evening with its many restaurants and bars.
The most famous street in the area is the King's Road, which takes its name from the time it was Charles II's private thoroughfare, and is one of the Capital's most popular streets with a good variety of shops and cafes to explore. At the North East end, you'll find Sloane Square which also has many high end shops, such as Tiffany & Co. and Hugo Boss as well as the impressive Saatchi Gallery at the Duke of York's Square. The King's Road is home to many fine dining restaurants, including Gordon Ramsay, Hache, Tom's Kitchen and The Bluebird, which is often noted as the place to be seen in Chelsea.
This area oozes elegance and a luxury lifestyle, and would be a recommended choice for both families and couples looking for a highly memorable city break.
