A magnificent detached home situated in affluent Richmond. This property will provide guests everything they could wish for from a luxury home.
A gated entry, with horse shoe driveway, sits at the front of this grand property. A large hallway greets you as you enter the house and to the left of this hallway you will discover a formal dining room. The dining room has a folding wall which, when pulled back, forms part of this high specification kitchen. For those guests who wish to hire a chef and to have a little privacy, simply fold the wall back.
The kitchen, is finished to an incredibly high specification. A bespoke design includes; granite work tops, breakfast bar with stools, huge American fridge/freezer and an additional informal dining area which overlooks the garden - perfect for for a morning cup of tea or coffee or al fresco dining. There is a flat screen tv mounted on the wall to provide entertainment whilst cooking or eating.
The ground floor also hosts a spacious living area with comfortable sofa, two oversized chairs, pouffe, fireplace and a modern flat screen television. With French doors down the length of this room, there's direct access onto the patio and beautiful garden beyond. The patio boasts a lovely table and comfortable wicker chairs, perfect for entertaining during a long summer's evening. Beyond the patio and down the sweeping stairs is a manicured lawn flanked by mature boarders.
Other additions to the ground floor are a downstairs toilet and, more uniquely, an integrated sound system which features wall and ceiling speakers in every room...allowing music to be enjoyed throughout the ground floor!
Upstairs on the first floor are four double bedrooms. Two of which have king-sized beds and the other two have good sized doubles. All are incredibly spacious, light and immaculately furnished. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, iPod docking station, large fitted wardrobe and an en-suite which features a shower, heated towel rail, sink and toilet.
To service the other three bedrooms is the beautifully tiled family bathroom. This includes a walk in shower, separate bath, over sized sink, toilet and heated towel rail.
The fifth and final bedroom is to be found on the second floor. This converted loft is a sumptuous second double en-suite bedroom. Much like the other four bedrooms it is light, airy and finished to a high standard.
This outstanding home is situated just a 10 minute walk from Richmond station (with connections on both the Underground, Overground lines as well as being a hub for local buses). Guests can take a train from here and be at Waterloo Station in 15 minutes. Richmond hosts excellent shopping and a vast array of restaurants, pubs and bars. There are many Georgian terraced houses as well as Richmond Palace, a splendid Tudor building, and countless cobbled streets and alleyways with boutique, independent shops and cafes to explore. This area is one for the outdoors type, with Richmond Green to relax on by the river and Richmond Park, a National Nature Reserve and the second largest park in London, to wander or cycle through and spot the red deer and other wildlife.
There's also the theatre to head to for an evening out, after you've visited the impressive Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. Offering many large homes, outside space, easy access into London and excellent shops and restaurants, Richmond is incredibly popular with families.
